This comapny with this phone number 888-813-5726 told me i was approved for a loan of 20,000 and that they deal with bank of amercia but that my credit was bad and they have a private lender and i would have to pay four months of my payments upfront and send it to the company and money will be in my account 24hrs later the guys name was owen hudson and the a ddress he gave me was 125 bank street missoula, mt does anyone have any info on them whether it is a fraud or not i have been frauded twice and would like to know if anyone knows if this company is legit or not the website also is www.northpointlending.net please get back to me asap thankss |

One of the most common scams out there. If you're to prepay four months of the loan, it should be done AFTER you get your money, not before. It's a rip-off - stay away or be a lot poorer. |

North Point Lending is a fake company. Don't be fooled by the website, it's a front for a scam and is probably not even based in the United States. It is illegal to ask for money upfront in exchange for a loan. If you send them anything they only ask you for more based on a "re-evaluation" of your loan status or similar BS. Once you stop sending them money you'll never hear from them again or see your money again. It's called a Pre-pay loan scam and those desperate for loans will see a lot and fall for them a lot. Never never never send anyone who promises you a loan any money! |

DO NOT work with these people, lets band together and get them back!! They have been told to stop doing business and have not, THEY ARE STILL answering their phones and dealing with fake loans. IT IS ILLEGAL to take any money in advance for a loan. Tell them to F off, let them know that YOU KNOW THEY ARE THIEVES and PLEASE report them as in many ways as POSSIBLE!!!!!

ok I have been talking to them and to the BBB. The answers are sketchy about it all except that they do not have any actual complaints that no one recieved their money. The one main complaint was from one individual that they did not get their money , due to 3 days prior to requesting the loan they filed for bankruptcy, and North point . fixing to release the loan was notified about it. So the funds were never released but they were refunded their money. but On the BBB website they do have there that there are 0 founded complaints. So I think that I am going to chance it, They sent me all of the paper work with all information, So if all is right with this I will post the result.. Hopefully I am not a total fool |

Well I have heard of them as of last night he called me as well and offered me 5000 and have to pay four months up front as well I have been scammed like this before and I don't think you should do it. |

I am from Canada and in our area just recently there has been a scam running where a broker supposedly brokers a loan, but there is a fee attached. SCAM!
In Canada this is illegal, your never pay a broker's fee before you receive the money. So, I think if I was you, I'd look elsewhere. |

DO NOT PURSUE THIS for heavens sake. If you have been a victim of fraud already you are probably on a list of targets. Merely taking a loan [if it even exists, which sounds doubtful] from some agencies can actually REDUCE your credit score because they will charge you high interest rates and you will be graded as a frequent defaulter/ non-payer. Only get a loan from someone YOU pursue.
See a non-proft credit counselor in your area IMMEDIATELY!!! |
