Has anyone one heard of Foresthill lending services?
I have been offered a loan from them and want to know if they are a scam. www.foresthilllending.com. I was contacted from them and say they work with many lenders to find you a loan to meet yours needs.they said they found a lender that will loan me 8000 at 7% . they faxed me a contract to sign and send back. the bad thing is the number they call me from is in canada yet the number they gave me to call them is in oklahoma city ok. When i figured this out and called thier costumer service and asked them where they are located they said oklahoma when i asked them why they called me from a number in canada they said it must be the phone server because they are located in the U.S. and that they have not had any complaints in 3 yrs and said the one they did have was resolved. If anyone else has heard of them or is dealing with them please give your advise

They are scam artists. I just wrote a blog article about them on a blogging site on google. I believe the website is www.blogger.com, and the article is under kmc23-lendingscam.blogspot. My husband and I did a lot of searching, and talking with the BBB of Oklahoma (that's where they said they were from, but they are really from Ontario, Canada. Don't believe a word they say!! We were also contacted by a Nadia O'Brien. Everything she told us we looked into and everything was a lie. She said she got our info from Citi Bank, and we called them, it was a lie. Citi Bank doesn't give out information. We called the BBB at 405-239-6081, that's the Ok BBB #. The phone number they originally called us from was in Ontario, it was 416-640-3445
I have spent hour after hour after hour looking for any information and nothing has checked out. I have called businesses in the building at 3501 NW 63rd st (thier so-called address) and nobody in the building knows of them. These people have been there for years that I was contacting. Trust me I have put my heart and soal into finding this out because we really wanted the loan, but it IS a scam.
Please check out my whol scam ordeal at the address listed.
I just looked up my address for my whole story about what happened you need to type it in like you would any other address and here it is: http://kmc23-lendingscam.blogspot.com/...

I have also been offered a loan by Nadia O'Bryan. I have yet to send my 4 upfront payments in. I have been trying to research them so I dont get scammed out of the money. Their website sure seems legit, but in this day and age who knows. I have until Wednesday the 16th of May to send my money in, and just don't know what to do.

Yes I have also and dealt with the rep. Nadia O'Brien. There seems to be alot of concerned questions but has anyone had a deal go bad with them? I was also offered a loan, and sent the money today. They said I would have the loan by the same time I sent the money the next business day. Which in my case would be Monday may 14 2007. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank- you.

I was just about to fax loans papers back to this company for a loan. I read all the responses on here and did some research and thankfully didnt send them any money. Thank you to all of you that put responses here, you saved me $950.00. Usually if something sounds too good to be true it is....

yes, I have heard of Foresthill Lending Services. My husband and I were supposedly approved for a 7,000 with 7% rate. They faxed us loan documents to read and sign and everything looked legit, however they said a condition of our loan was to come up with the first four monthly payments which equals $865 as collateral for the loan. We wired the money to them with their promise to have our funds within 24 hours. Then we got a call saying we needed to come up with an additional $865 before the loan was released. 48 hours since our fax and money transfer and still we have no loan. Please be advised that their faxed paperwork says ForestHill Lending services in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma but their voice mail at their number of 888 524 1170 says it's Prime West Lending Group. We dealt with loan officer Brenda Taylor at extention 281 and customer service manager Steven Kubin at ext 774. Also our wire transfer went to a contact named Lindsay Spearhead in Clinton, Alberta Canada. BE CAREFUL! We believe we've been scammed for $1700 and have now filed complaints with the BBB and our local district attorney. It was our fault for being so naive and trusting, but who would have thought it was a scam with a legitimate looking web site and official looking documents. Also be advised they asked us for two forms of ID and a voided check from our bank account to process our loan. Needless to say we've closed out our current account and put an alert out on our credit report. By the way the phone number on their paperwork says 866 892-6938 and their address is 3501 NW 63rd Street Oklahoma City, Ok 73116, but again the phone I've been using is 888 524 1170

Edwards Snyder from Forest Hill Lending contacted me as well. I haven't been able to find any information on them from the BBB or online, I hope that they are legit though cause I've already put up my collateral, Smart of me uh.

I believe this place is a scam as well. They wanted 1500 upfront for a 40000 loan.We were working with Robert Campbell too. When I did the research, nothing came up. However I did go to whois.net, which is linked off the BBB website where you can see how old a website is, and according to what I saw, it was created on May 5, 2007! I even called my bank and asked them if they had ever heard of ForestHill Lending and they searched their database and found nothing. Robert Campbell was very pushy and unprofessional...not at all what you would expect from a loan officer. And reading these answers...I'm glad I didn't send the money! By the way, they told me they were in business 10 years. You know how it goes: If you smell a rat, there probably is one. Be careful!

ok you have been scammed. i know , sorry to say,i was scammed through southview loans . all these places that ask for money upfront is illegal in the u.s. and bbb, western union, and money gram are telling everyone to not send any money to canada or africa. these people say they will loan you any amount of money for a fee and they take it and run. i have found out several of these scams myself and i have contacted the bbb here in the states and canada and the uk. they all reply that no one is accepting phone calls or the mail is being sent back as no such business exsists. the problem is these fake companies set up online, read these things on here like on yahoo answers or get all your info through a application on line and call you and tell you they can help you. DONT DO IT. they prey on people like us that need money. they never get caught because they shut down when they get turned in. thats what happened with me when i didnt get money loan from southview. the bbb told me they were scammers and several 1,000 people were taken for thousands of dollars ,they told me to never send any upfront payments to anyone anywhere on a loan. so im sorry to say, you lost your money, probably couldnt afford to send it in and scraped it up anyway, and now you will never get it or the loan. dont ever reply to these people on here that say they will give you a loan. its scammers. with yahoo and hotmail address's. and even business s look legit on the internet like southview loans did , i personally got southview loans name from prosper.com. no lie so please be very careful

My husband and i recieved a phone call from james burton at foresthill lending. My husband went through the prosses of the loan and when the money was recieved by them they said they needed more money so the funds could be sent. Well this made him really uneasy so he call the BBB in oklahoma city and found out that it was illigal to pay money up front on a personal loan. Also that the company was a total scam as per words from a person at BBB not a recording. dont do it it is a scam sorry to say. Right now we are working with the BBB in oklahoma city to bring this scam artist down. Any concerns you might have you should contact the BBB at (405)239-6081 if you have recieved a contract you can forward it to them to help them out. i hope i helped you out.

WOW-I am so glad I did my research before accepting a loan from these BS artists...I have been trying to get a small personal loan ($3,000) to consolidate some bills. I received a call from Robert Campbell of Foresthill Lending telling me that I was approved for $5,000, but I would need to come up with 6 months of advance payments to "secure" the loan (he said the money would go towards the principal of my loan-total BS). Something didn't ring right to me, so I did lots of searching online and found out that any loan company that tries to get money upfront like this is a SCAM! I filed a complaint with the FTC, and suggest all of you that sent them money do as well! NEVER send money through Western Union or anything of that sort, there is no way to recover it once it is gone. I did call this "Robert Campbell" back and told him that I was aware that this was all a scam, and he got very defensive....Watch out for these people! I work in a law firm, so it's my nature to "investigate" things...

DON'T DO IT!
In addition to Forest Hill being a scam...so is 1st Advance Loans and Amcapital and Prime West Lending. I was almost sucked into Prime West last week for $900 on a $5000 loan. The 900 was collateral for the first four months payment. A "red flag" went up when I went to moneygram the funds to them. I was told by the man from moneygram NOT to send any money to anyone in Canada....it is a scam! I hope we all can find someone honest to do business with....just because bad things happen to good people, doesn't make us "bad" people to do business with!
