I went to free credit report.com and did it there. It only shows you one of them, not all three. I don't really have much info on my credit report but it is helpful to see how it works and what they look for in credit. It was easy to cancel. You got an email after you sign up and then you call the number in the email and then they set it to cancel after the 30 days. Even if you cancel it in like 15 days it will still let you use it for the full 30 before it cancels it for you. |

I have actually used it before. It was pretty helpful and a good way to view everything that makes my credit score. Beware, they will do their best to talk you out of cancelling your account but if you interrupt their sales pitch enough times they give in and do what you ask. I've also used freecreditreport.com before...I compared both scores and they were within a few numbers of being the same...hope this helps...good luck! |

Yes..I used it last year.
I was planning to buy a new car and didn't want any embarrassment.
It was easy to use...I was able to print off the results ( Which were very good and turns out I had nothing to worry about)
And it was sooooo easy to cancel. |

or you could request the standard copy. it costs £2 but includes everything potential lenders see and you dont have to sign up for their "special" services. |

Yes - but you do have to call an 0845 number to cancel & don't forget to do it or else they will begin charging you after the 30days are up. |

The US Government has mandated that the three major credit bureaus offer the service to everyone in the United States once each year. The name of this site is www.annualcreditreport.com.
Since it is government mandated it requires a whole host of hoops to jump through. You do not actually get your credit scores, and it can take 7-10 days to receive the information. All in all not very consumer friendly. Guess that is what happens when a big company is required to do something they do not want to do.
Here is how I got my Credit Report and Score from all 3 bureaus for free.
I went to http://faqfaq.net/FreeCreditReport.html and signed up for their service.
It took like 3 minutes! They give you 7 Days for Free to try the service.
So I just canceled the next day after printing out everything I needed.
Easy and Free. |

my girlfriend tried it. Cancelling was no problem so never charged, but she was never sent a password that was supposed to come by snail mail, so was never able to actually get a credit check |

Yeah I have and if you are worried about your credit apply for a card and when you get the denail paper you then call the 800 follow the promts and they send it right out to you very useful and they dont take that long to come in may be a couple of weeks!! But sometimes it can be a hassell to deal with canceling any thing!! Try to go free 1st |
