I got my hopes up when I heard ALL direct deposits will be done May 2nd. Is it rumor or speculation? IRS doesn't seem to have updated information but some financial webcites are stating a new payment schedule. |

I have no idea if it is rumor or speculation. I just keep keeping my fingers crossed that all direct depoists are out on Fri. But I have heard so many different things that I dont know what to believe. |

Since it is 'free' money, I guess I will just wait until it arrives.

It is true that there is a new schedule; they said that it's been moved up a week, starting this week of course. But because only 800,000 were deposited yesterday and again today, that isn't very many out of the millions left to do. Because I did direct deposit and my social ends with 86, I'll probably get mine at the end of business on Friday. |

I heard that checks were being direct deposited beginning Monday. Although my last 2 digits of my SS # are a higher number, I had hoped to receive my deposit by today. Looking forward to receiving it by Friday at the latest, and I hope the gentleman who posted they've been delayed a week is joking - how could they dangle a carrot and then pull it away? But then again, look whom we're speaking of........
Additionally -- I just searched cnn.com and there was no mention that I could find - of the checks being delayed by a week, so it appears the above poster, "Frank" is incorrect. |

I am a low number social, and direct deposit but have not recieved any stimulating check as of yet. I was thinking I would see it by now. Starting to think the Govt. is like my girlfriend, a big tease. Thursday no checks are going out so guess I will hope to see it Friday. I saw peeps in Arizona are getting some. |
