Are they inquiries or actual reports of credit. Credit accounts get sold constantly so you may be looking at an account that you did have, but that was sold. If they're inquiries, you'll see many of those. Creditors routinely make legal inquiries into your credit in order to market to you.
Contact the creditor listed and ask them to send to you, in writing, a detail of the account -- when it was opened, the credit line, a statement of charges and credits, etc. If they can't provide this to you, you can ask them to remove it from your report. Is the pay history good? It may even be someone else's that was accidentally reported on your account (a SS# that is similar or name, etc). It's worth looking into. |
|

what?
|
First, file a dispute, then try to put a credit watch on your report. Next talk to the creditor to see their records and ask what their policies are for abnormalities. |

If you know that you did not apply for them, conact the credit reporting agency and file a complaint. Then the debtor has either 30 or 45 days to respond and show proof that you actually ow the debt. If they don't respond it is removed from your credit. |

Ask the companys and inform them about this situation. More often than not, they should cooperate, lest they get bad PR.
However, if they aren't willing to cooperate, try these ideas:
Contact your credit card company and let them know about your concerns about this possible fraud. Most card companies have departments which help research about fraudulent purchases, and they should be able to assist you.
There is also the better business bureau, who look into businesses which give poor service or criminal activities.
If these things have been bought without your knowledge, but with your information, your identity might have been stolen.
If you think this is the case, contact your financial agents and possible law enforcement for help. |

Of course you should contact and state that you didn't apply an that you don't have their credit card-unless you want to pay for charges you are not making-I'm sure the company by law has to provide you with what proof they have that you applied and that they sent you the card. If charges have been made there should be charge slips. I'd do his right away for time in your case is money. |

No. Contact the credit bureau and have them withdrawn. |

First and foremost contact the credit bureau and dispute the accounts. Let them know that you may be a victim of identity theft. Then contact the company and make sure they are not yours. They may be third party company's trying to collect for an old debt on another card. If that is the case get their info and send a cease and desist letter telling them to stop any checks of your credit and remove themselves from your report because you intend to work with the original creditors only. I have a company claiming we owe money that we never owed and they keep refusing to give me written proof. those companies will be difficult. I had a fraud alert placed on that part of my report. I hope this helps. Good luck |

If the credit cards are indeed listed as being in your name, you need to dispute them and possibly put a fraud alert on your credit report. You should also think about identity theft. |

credit card and insurances companies can check your credit whenever they want unless you opt-out. ( you can do this online with the 3 major reporting companies)
other places like for a bank loan need your permission |
