You need to call the credit union and see what is going on...You may be have some credit theft issues...transunion should have had a phone number listed for you to call....but definitely don't sit around and do nothing, because someone probably is using your credit for no good! |

Oh yeah, that happened to my mom and sis. Their site is bullsh*t. You'll have to call them at the 1-800 number to get a user name and password, and then you'll be able to see your report online. Or you can order a free one from them. Print the form from their site and mail it to them with a photocopy of your drivers license and SIN card. For some reason I was lucky enough to get my credit report at an instant from the Equifax website the first time I tried it. Could be because my creditors have a big file on me and report it to the bureau regularly. |

go to annualcreditreport.com
you are entitled to 1 free credit report/year... you may not have any information in transunion's database
remember there are 3 credit bureas... transunion, experian, and equifax... equifax being the largest.

Either that isn't a reputable site (go through a federal government site for these things) or..you don't have a credit history. I know my step father has a lot of money, and has been a consumer for many, many years. However, as he has always paid cash for everything, has never had a credit card, he doesn't have a credit report. And thus, he can't even get a credit card at a local store.

Have you tried pulling your report from annualcreditreport.com? I have never heard of anyone having a non existant credit report, especially when you recieved a collection notice. Try the other two bureaus...maybe it will give you a clue as to why transunion is not able to find your report (maybe they have your ssn wrong or something). |
