I'm sorry for you and your partner, but, why would you want to compound the money troubles you have by going into even more debt? If a company does lend you some money they APR would be astronomical and payments crippling. You should consider joining a local credit union. You have to make a commitment to pay so much in every payday then after a certain amount of time you would become eligible for a loan at a much reduced sensible rate of repayment. Take it from someone who spent 11 years trying to sort out huge debt problems, it's not worth te hassle! Good luck.

There is one last resort for bad credit loans as long as your credit score is above 520. Try prosper.com. They have unsecured personal loans for bad credit.

If you own your vehicle you can take a car loan out it. The loan will not be over the worth of your vehicle. The bank will hold the title but the down fall is you must put full coverage on it. It is much easier to get a loan like this than a loan w/o collateral.

Welcome Finance will loan to almost anyone with no upfront charges and will probably lend about £2,000 depending on your circumstances. As you probably expect the APR is astronomical and they are very 'keen' on non-payers and will confront you at your door if you miss a payment.
Stay well clear of YES Loans as they are a scam and will ask you for £49.50 upfront which is very difficult to get back.
For a smaller loan why not try Provident they'll do about £500 and collected money weekly from your home but to lend £500 you will pay over £800 back.
Do you really, really need a loan that badly?

There are loads of companies that will give you a loan, but be careful. Because you are a high risk they will charge you an inflated APR for it.
