You will need to file a report of fraud with the police and with these credit reporting agencies. They will flag your account so that it will be much more difficult for anyone to defraud you. |

In addition you need to report to the three major credit bureaus that there's a problem and they will report any activity on your ss to you directly. |

You should be able to go to the bank and find out which companies they used to check your credit and contact the company with your credit report from there. After you do then you need to find out from them what you can do. If they do not help then you may want to call a lawyer.
Also do what Phoenix says as well. |

After you get a free credit report, contact the local Office of Social Security. They will help you show the credit card companies what happened with the fraud and they can actually give you a new number. They can tell you what to do to start the prosecution of a complaint to get your name cleared. It's a long process. |

My first guess would be to go to http://www.freecreditreport.com. You will need to enter your ss# into this website to get your credit report. I never used this website, though. And you should let the police know someone stole your identity. I'm sure it will be a pain in the behinder to get your credit straightened out, but its worth it. |

Did you go to the bank and talk to the manager about this they should be able to print one out for you and you need to try to get a new ss# asap. I'm 17 and I've had the same problem almost, like you so try that and let me know asap. email me @ randy_mrrs@yahoo.com with the answer. |
