I don't think I've come across any online shop which doesn't accept debit cards.
You can also use Paypal, which is quicker and easier than your card, once you've registered with them all you need to do is sign in to your account to send the money - no need to spend ages filling in your card details. http://www.paypal.com/
Quite a few places will also still accept cheques and postal orders if you're really stuck. |

As long as your debit card has the symbol of visa or mastercard or similar, you can just use that.
It is wise to only use well known sites, such as Amazon or Play.com. |

What does it say on your card?
I don't have a credit card but my card says "Visa Electron" on it which is widely accepted.
If you are still having difficulty, create a Paypal account... loads of places accept it for payment.
I have an AMEX card which is rarely accepted, but i can pay with my AMEX via Paypal. |

if you have a debit card that has the visa/MC symbol on it use it as you would a CC. |

I agree, paypal is great and secure. Also, debit cards spend just like a credit card. Now if you are talking about an ATM card you will have to just do paypal. |
