AnnualCreditReport.com is the only site that does not require you to sign up for monitoring service. This is the site mandated by the FTC to allow online access to your free annual credit report from each of the credit bureaus. The reports are free but you have to pay for scores.
If you want your scores, the best place to get real, up-to-date FICO scores is MyFico.com.
Freecreditreport.com is NOT free. You have to sign up for their monitoring service which will bill you monthly. They make it very difficultto cancel that 14 day trial membership. |

The website that has "free" in its address is not really free. The report is free, but to receive it, you have to agree to pay for something else, which costs more than a credit report, every month for evermore, unless you are somehow able to cancel.
Credit reports from the website http://www.annualcreditreport.com are free, but only if you order only the credit report. If you order the score also, then you do have to pay. Also, you can receive a maximum of one free report per credit bureau (of which there are three) per year. |

Haven't you seen the commercials? Go to freecreditreport.com.
You'll have to wade through a lot of attempts to get you to sign up for a reporting service, but if you work at it a little, you WILL be able to get your free report. |
