in my town we have places like the dollar loan center and stuff. you can give them like the title to your vehicle and they give you the loan. that is if you have a vehicle. once you have the loan payed off they give you the tilte back.... |

If you can show proof that you have been accepted in the Army and therefore that you will have guaranteed income next month, there are companies that will lend you money.
Ask your bank first, or HSBC, or they may be able to suggest a likely lender for you. Also search the Internet. |

Sorry. Friends or family. You can try getting a credit card online, that is a form of a personal loan. They are pretty easy with their credit standards. May be a high interest rate, but if you are gonna pay it back quickly, thats not a problem.
Did you check with your Army Recruiting office? Thay may have a program..

Sorry to hear you're experiencing hard times. I've been there myself many times. I applaud your decision to join the military. If I could do one thing over in my life, it would be to join up.
You say you have no credit -- not bad credit. That might be to your advantage. If that's the case, look around on the Internet for a credit card that offers high fees and interest rates. You don't have to lie on your application. If you've actually signed the papers to join the army, then perhaps you could write that down.
While you're looking around on the Internet, I want to caution you against some scams. My friend Mark put an ad on Craigslist to tutor people in English. He got an email from a single father in Australia whose son was coming to America. The father arranged to pay Mark $1800 in advance to tutor. Mark received the money orders a week later and deposited them in his bank account. The next day, he went back to the bank and took most of the money out. A week later, he received a letter from his bank that the money orders were no good and that he would have to pay the bank back or else he could be charged with a felony. He arranged to pay the bank back over a period of three months.

Without a job, any assets, and bad credit you you could either get a cosigner, a loan from your parents or a close friend or a loan shark are your 3 options..
Seriously you have to think about it from a lenders point of view...would you give a loan to someone with your credentials? Im not saying that to sound rude, it would just be to risky. |

To be frank your most likely going to have to ask someone you know.

No normal bank will give you a loan yet. Now have you signed your army papers? If you have committed and signed then a bank might be willing because they know you will always get paid from the military and if you dont they'll garnish your wages but I don't know if they'll take that chance before you actually start getting paid.
I would suggest talking to your recruiter to see if there are any options through the military..you can always sign and head out in a month right? see if the the army will give you a 1000 signing bonus or make it look that way.
I hope these options help you but your in a tough situation especially with it being a higher amount |

Honestly, I don't think you can get a loan. I've tried in the past, when I basically had no credit. I'm married and my husband and I both have very good jobs. We even tried at our bank that we have been banking at for about eight or ten years. Sorry I couldn't be of much help. Good luck. |
