How can I get a morgage with bad credit?

Don't lose hope if you're looking to buy a home. There are so many different ways to fund a home now, just about anyone with any kind of credit can get into a home, regardless of credit situation.

Of course, some will cost you more money in the long run, but a home it's still one of the best investments that you can make, so, in many cases, it's worth it, especially for the first year of ownership.

You should shop around, and ask different lenders what kind of programs they have, and if they can help. Try to find a lender that specializes in bad credit mortgages. You can find some bad credit mortgage lenders listed on this page on and off:

Under many circumstances, yes.....it depends on several factors; you need to get a good loan officer researching different and creative programs for you. I recommend Smart Choice Mortgage. They do business in most states and are your best opportunity for someone to say yes. ADDITIONALLY, IF YOUR CREDIT IS SUSPECT, THEY SOMETIMES FRONT THE MONEY TO GET YOU INTO A CREDIT RESTORATION PROGRAM SO THAT YOU CAN QUALIFY FOR A LOAN. Check out the free evaluation form at the source website and a Smart Choice loan officer will contact you within 24 hours. Good luck.

If the company to whose credit card you have applied, charges you a very high interest rate, avoid it. When you apply for secured credit cards, you'll find some companies will charge you an annual fee. It is ok in certain cases. An annual fee not exceeding $60 is acceptable. But don’t pay over $60 in annual fees for a secured credit card.

as long as you have enough income to qualify you more than likely can get one, however, the interest rate may be slightly higher than someone with good credit...after establishing yourself with a new mortgage you can always re-finance for a lower interest rate...good luck

Go to a morgage broker and see what he/she can do for you. One way to get around bad credit is to purchase with a lease to own. It raises your credit while you are paying for your home. Then when the lease is up you will qualify. Talk to a morgage broker, they can help.

Hi,

Have seen lots of people asking info on bad credits. Well, if you need to get your problem solved on<!--bad credit, you must know to how to confront it. Many factors can contribute to someone getting a "bad credit" rating, among these are non-payment of an account or late payments over an extended length of time. Take a look on

http://badcredits.awardspace.com/

You can easily be labelled as a bad credit risk by financial companies. This can make it more difficult to-->arrange loans or other finance, and usually means you will pay more interest on any loan you take out.

many financial institutions, banks, etc. have an alternative lending department. Some call it sub-prime. Depending on how bad your situation is, you may be able to fall into that category. Yes, the rate will be higher until you're able to refinance once your situation improves. However, is it really worth the high rate just to say that you own a house? I personally do not think it is. If you have bad credit, it's a good probabiilty that it will happen in the future, so you shouldn't take the chance of defaulting and foreclosing. You should find out how much you can afford each month and back that into an overall dollar figure. Too many people think, "I want a $300,000 house", but have no idea what that mean in terms of a monthly payment. Go backwards. Depending on where you live, renters are in a much better situation that homebuyers/homeowners.

It is not difficult to get your mortgage approved even with bad credit rating. The key is to choose a right lender who deals especially in bad credit mortgages. There are lenders known as Subprime mortgage lenders have various programs that cater only to the homebuyers whose credit rating is bad. Do not go to your traditional mortgage lenders or banks, which are more likely to turn you down.
