Sunil P | How can I settle my credit card/personal loan debt? |
I have credit card/personal loan debts and looking for a lumpsum settlement. Due to financial problems I'm not paid last few EMIs. |

It took time to incur all that debt.....it's going to take time to get out of it.
There is no easy answer.
And unless you win the lottery....no lump sum either.
I highly recommend you read Dave Ramsey's books. He outlines a program to get your debts paid off. He calls them the Baby Steps.
He also has a radio program and web site.
His strategy for paying off debt is not fun. It takes hard work and sacrifice. But you incurred the debt. You signed your name that you would be responsible for that debt. You have to honor your obligations and pay it off. But it helps to have a strategy for how you are going to do it. |

You can:
1. Do nothing (Bad Option)
2. Try and negotiate yourself
3. Hire a lawyer
4. Enroll in a debt settlement program
I think the best course of action is in reverse order 4,3,2,1. |

You can easily settle the credit card and personal loan debts. If you cannot pay the entire due with penal interest and recovery charges etc, you can go in for a single shot full and final settlement. It is better, you utilise the services of an experienced advocate. In case, if the credit card company and pl organisation does not accept, you may approach the jurisdictional court and initiate IP proceedings. The court upon enquiry and findings, will disburse the proceedings, after the deduction of court fee, to the credit card and pl organisations, without any hitch to you. |

You have to really work out your budget and cut down on some of the expenses. You may consider to do extra or part time job so that you can earn extra and pay off the debts as much as you can. Another way is to learn and find out how to boost your income. Whenever you are ready, get into it and work your way out of your debts asap.
All the best,

Hi
I saw your question I have decided to help people out due to the fact that I myself has been scammed twice by fake lenders in my search for a loan but at last I got a reliable lender that gave me the loan($60,000 USD) that I was in dire need of. Hence I decided that I will refer anybody I come across to this God sent lender he is reliable and his terms are fair. You can get to him via his email address: dr_leopaulson@yahoo.com, Please tell him that Deborah Kirk he gave out a loan to me . I have search for a legit lender until I got him and I decided to help my fellow humans with this because there are a lot of fake lenders out there and I do not want any body to fall a prey please get to him and tell him that I referred you to him.”
Thanks. |

If you plan on paying the debt you have a few choices. If they are with the original creditors you can call them and see if they will settle the debt for a lesser price. They might be reluctant to do this but it is worth a try. Or you can go to a debt settlement co. that will work with you to settle you debt. They are usually more successful since they have ties to these companies. Now if they are in collections you have a much better chance to settle. Since these companies often pay pennies on the dollar you can offer them 50% of the amount owed. You want to try to get them also to delete these items off your credit report. So you will want to do a pay for delete. You can find more info at creditboards.com on how to go about this. It is a free forum with sample PFD letters you can use.

You have credit card debt, and you wan to pay it off as quickly as you can. We will assume that you are going to stop creating more debt. You have changed your ways. You also understand that paying credit card<!--balances with a consolidation loan or rolling it into a mortgage isn't paying it off. In fact, paying a lower interest rate, but paying on the debt for many more years, usually means paying much more, not less.Okay, so you really want to be rid of that credit card debt.

First, you have to understand that not all debt is the same. Of course you know this. Some of your cards have a higher interest rate than others.Find and budget the money to start paying down those balances. If you order pizza every week, for example, you may be spending $60 or $80 per month right there-->If you are serious about getting those debts paid, you may have to eat $4 frozen pizzas for now. Do what you have to do, and determine how much you can apply towards the debt each month. |
