1. File bankruptcy.
2. If you don't care about your credit, just stop paying everything and move. You credit will be shot for about 10 yrs.
3. Pay off your smallest bills first, then use those old payments to pay off the next largest bill, and so on. It's called the snowball method.
4. Get a big loan to pay off everything and then pay off the big loan. |

OK major debt 1st some folks think major debt is like 5 -10k in debt this is easy set up a written plan cut things like cable, certain cell phone plans, eating out ect. then applying the extra paying the debt. Now something huge like owing 40k and you make 20k a year then look into talking to a non profit credit counseling.

I did a debt management company that I pay to have them pay my creditors. They worked a bunch of deals with all the debtors to lower APR and late fees. Budget Right is the name of the company. It has taken about 2.5 years to pay down 12500 in debt, when without them it would have taken ten years or more |
