Does your husband have a credit history? Get a co-signer who has a credit history that can be referenced when you apply for a credit card - you may get a small credit limit ($500) - make small purchases on it, and pay it off each month |

I used to work at a bank. What you could do is apply for a secured credit card. What that means is, you apply for the card, YOU put how much money you want into the account...lets say anywhere from $200.00 to $500.00. Then, you use the card like any other credit card, not going over your limit, of course, and make payments ON TIME. and THAT will build your credit. Eventually once you have created that credit, you will then be able to apply for regular credit cards, and get approved...and eventually get the house. I'm not sure which bank you have, but I used to work for Bank of America and all you have to do is go into a bank and ask for a "secured credit card application". Good Luck to your future! |

You could try getting yourself a secured credit card. In which the amount you pay them is what the balance limit you'll have on it.
And you'll need a few if not at least several years of a stable good credit history before you'll even get a chance at larger purchases, much less a good deal on one.
Or you could also try buying a used car. Dealers usually can finance you, but you'll be reamed by the financing terms so you need to be good at negotiating. But paying off the loan on a car (even used) will greatly boost your score.
Also don't go trigger happy at applying places. The more they have to pull up your credit report, the more your score will drop. |

First thing to do is get a Capitol One credit card..Then when you have one apply for other cards and they will see you have a credit card and approve you..But be sure to pay them and you will have good credit. |

One of the easier ways to build up credit is to get a credit card from some gas station such as Shell. Just use it for gas and over time it adds up. It's not a quick fix, but I have know people that have been able to recover using that method and some others over period of a few months. |

Well, if you have no previous credit. Do you have a bank account? If so, then how long have you had this bank account? If you've had it for a while, then apply for a credit card through your bank. They shouldn't have a problem issuing you one. Also you can apply for a gas card, that's another form of credit. I know if you buy a house, they require you to have several forms of credit, at least three if I remember correctly. Also, once you get a credit card and other forms of credit, you have to have them for a while and build it up before you can even consider buying a house. Don't even think about trying to buy a house right after you get these. I got my first credit card when I was 18 through my bank which I've been with since I was 16. I also have a gas card, an account that i'm using to pay off my computer, my truck payment, a Sears account. And a few more that I can't remember right off the top of my head. I'm 26 now, bought my house when I was 25, so I've been building credit for a while. You can't do anything without credit. Good luck. |

Try getting a "secured" credit card. You will have to deposit some money and they will give it to you. That is a great way of building credit! |

start by erasing bad marks on your credit report, then use credit cards for purchases and pay the balances off in full every month - will work like a charm |
