There are more that a few lenders who specialize in credit cards for people with bad credit. You just have to look a little harder than most people have to.
And getting a card after you've had a few problems doesn't necessarily mean that you have a higher than normal rate. Like, I said, you'll just have to compare between credit lines, yearly fees, and interest percentages. Just make sure you do your homework BEFORE you commit, and you'll be fine.

Its going to be hard for you to get a credit card unless you find a bank that has a secured credit card. They will give you a card only if you put in the amount of your limit into a account in their bank. That way you can only spend whats in your account. If you fall behind in your payments they will take it from your account. The interest rate is high. You still have about three more years to go after you filed for bankrupt before you can apply for a credit card again. You stated that you have a income so why can't you pay your over due bills out of that. Having a credit card in not going to clear things up for you it will only put you back to where you were before. Just pay off what you can with what you have. |
