How can i improve my credit score immediately?

Runners Edge
If by immediately you mean 3 months, you can pay off the debt you owe. That's about the soonest anything will be reflected on your credit report.
Pay down the debit on accounts so you owe less than a 33%.

Madison
Pay off any debt you may have (loans, credit cards, etc). Even making monthly payments on those debts will help improve your credit score.

Sgt Big Red
The only way to make a "quick" improvement is by paying all balances due immediately (excluding a mortgage), this will reduce your debt to equity ratio. (even better if you could pay off mortgage).

However, if you already have any negative or derogatory entries on you credit report, nothing much will help for quite a while.

pay all your bills on time
clean up any deliquent accts
do not open any new cc accts.

bobby
its takes seven years for the credit bereus to reset your credit history however if you want to improve your credit, just pay the monthly bills on-time.

Quiet.Buck
credit score is never instant. the only fast way to improve it is to talk to your bank. you can do say $1000 loan and backed by a locked $1000 from savings. Keep the loan 3-6 months and pay it off. Or have it set for 1 year term, and pay it off. A few of these will show recent positive transactions.

Otherwise, clean up your credit, pay off what you owe, petition others to remove theirs if older than 7 yrs or paid. Its a big process, headache and takes time.

Pay off whatever bills that you have immediately.

There is no such thing as improving your credit score immediately that's legal and you could find yourself in trouble for credit fraud!

Look, go to the website below and read it all! This is a really good one and you will find a section called "how credit scoring works" particularly of interest!

It takes time to improve your credit score and I did it! My score went from 480 to 709 in one year with the help I got from this site so it's worth your time!

Quick fixes never last and having a good credit score should become a habit. Once you get there, it's not hard to keep it there, trust me!

In this day and age of electronics, I assume you mean like right now. That's impossible. In 30 days? A little bit. Three months? Possible.

Some of those answers previously are correct. To do it legally, first close accounts that you have not had any activity on in years. This looks better than the credit card company doing it because of inactivity.

Next. If your score is of great concern, then just keep paying, and timely. Best thing to do is to avoid high interest credit card balances. Pay those off first. If you really, really need to have some balances on your accounts, keep the balances to less than 30 of all your available credit card balance.

This does not include mortgages or car payments.

Finally shred all cards, except for gas and grocery store use.

If you have a need to buy something on credit, see if you have enough in your bank account to pay cash. If not, then you can probably live without it.

Repair your credit , Do it yourself 6 step.
Step 1) Order your credit report from the three major credit bureaus: Transunion, Equifax and Experian.
Step 2) Monitor your credit daily with 3 in 1 Credit Watch . Monitoring your credit report is one of the best ways to protect yourself from identity theft. This will also help you see your Credit repair progress.
Tips: Always keep notes
(a)Write down your Credit score weekly
(b)Print your credit report once. printing your report will help you see what has changed at the end of your credit repair journey.

Step 3) Dispute all negative items. No matter what status of this items, always dispute it. (Late Payments, Collections, Charge Offs, Etc). In about one month or less you will receive the results from the the three credit bureaus.

Step 4) I f you are late more then 30 Days on any Credit card , loan , Etc make sure you pay the bills and bring it up to date. ( late payments on your credit report will affect your credit score )

a) Pay down any pending charge off accounts in your credit report. This is a MUST if you want to have a good credit score. Charge off does not mean you don't own the debt any more.

b)Never , never call your credit collections Agent with any question. Always send a letter to them so you can keep a record of the communication. By doing this you will also keep yourself from getting in to trouble by the thousands of question they ask when you call. Negotiate with then and ask to update your report and maybe remove the Charge Off from your credit report .

Step 5) Once you finish paying down your Charge off accounts, dispute your negative items one more time. ( please do not ask why dispute again) All I can tell you is that this will help you remove any error from your credit report :).

Step 6) Update your credit report from your credit watch program on step 2 and compare both your credit report and your credit score. You should see close to 100% improvement from what your credit was on day one. You are DONE. Remember to always pay your credit cards, loans on time. your credit will improve even more with time. immediately would be about impossible im not really sure how long it takes to improve it.

Cancel any unnecessary credit cards you have. The less credit cards you have, the better your credit score. Also pay off any debts or loans you have as quickly as you can.
