my 18 year old has a Maurice's card (200.00 limit) but they report. So it's a start. Other than small store cards you can try cap 1 (they usually will give out a small cc if you don't have bad credit) Also, if you have a bank account you may check with your local bank about a small card.

Judy
Have a checking account with visa/debit card.
And never overdraft.
Never carry a balance on a credit card. EVER.
That's some kind of myth that carrying a balance improves credit.

The best way increase your credit is to buy a million dollar house and pay it off in 6 months.

Lamont
Make sure you consitantly pay your bills on time.

SmartAndHot
get a student credit card from the following site. Use it and pay the balance in full each month and your score will go up. good luck!
