If your answer is annualcreditreport.com or freecreditreport.com your wrong they require credit card is there any site out there that doesn't require one.

Go to a financial advisor at the bank you deal with. They'll be able to bring everything up there. Or, contact one of the credit bureaus over the phone to see how you can get your report other than online with a credit card. |

You are entitled to one free one per year. I just got a newer one within the year by going back and simply choosing a different company out of the 3 they have. I DID NOT use a credit card to get it. That option would have been only if you wanted a constant eye being kept on your report in case of ID theft or if you wanted your FICO score. Look at the site closer, you can do it without CC. |

AnnualCreditReport. com is 100% free and does not require a credit card or registration for credit monitoring services. (I've used it for the last 3 years!!) FreeCreditReport.com, on the other hand, does.
Under the FACT Act, you're allowed one report per bureau, once every 12 months. If you've already received all 3 reports this year, then yes, you'll have to pay extra.
I think you're doing something wrong or not reading the directions carefully. Or perhaps, you're just giving us a load of bull! I think it's the latter. |

That's really strange... I think the only reason they are asking you for a credit card is to be able to charge you for the report. I really don't think you need a credit card to obtain your credit report.
I think your best bet will be to contact the major creditors directly (Equifax, TransUnion and I believe there is one more but I can't think of it at the moment).

The only reason they want a credit card is to get payment -- trust me, it doesn't have to be yours. Get a friend to do it and pay them the cash.
The "Credit" part of credit cards only have to do with your actual credit score. If you're close to your limit your score will go down. If you pay your credit card off every month, your score will be great! |

You can buy one of those Mastercard Debit Cards they have come out with now. You can put money on them and use them like a real credit card.
This one is completely free. You are entitled to it once a year.
