Get a secured card.

I WOULD NOT SUGGEST GETTING A CREDIT CARD OF ANY TYPE IF YOU ARE ALREADY IN FINANCIAL TURMOIL. IF YOU WERE ABLE TO GET A CARD, THE PAYMENTS WOULD KILL YOU ON INTEREST. NOT A GOOD IDEA!!! DON'T DO THAT TO YOURSELF!!!

alwayscurious
There are cards for people with bad credit to rebuild credit. Try looking up Aspire Visa, Imagine Mastercard, I have both and they up your limits after you pay for a few months. They give them to anyone.

Well if you have bad credit you don't need a credit card, that will just make evering hard and you will just end up with more probs then you had before.

Forget about it!

Its a head ache trying to re-establish your credit with limited credit cards. An example I ran into, was just the same as you. I got a mail from Orchard Bank, like many quick credit card offers for bad credit people, they may offer you 300 credit line and then add fees leaving u with about 75 left to use as credit. If you miss a payment goodluck on customer service.

My advice to to purchase a pre-paid credit card. Example GreenDot - That is if you just need something rather than direct money. If you are looking for a way to re-establish your credit. Pay the debt off.

There are many predators out there who will happily provide you with a credit card. They know that in all likelihood, you will use the card until you are over the limit and cannot afford the minimum payments so that on top of their near criminal interest rates, they can charge you for making late payments and for being over the limit so that you are paying them more than you can afford and still be falling behind.

You don't need a credit card even though you have been conditioned to believe that you do by the credit industry's slick advertisements.

Here's what you should do:

1. Either get a job or go back to school (or both).

2. Open checking and saving accounts. Keep your accounts and finances completely separate from those of your boyfriend(s).

3. Live frugally and add a little to your savings each month. Pay as you go and do not accumulate debt.

4. Once you are able to keep a month's pay in your savings account as a reserve, begin making safe, long term investments.

Get a secured credit card that means you have to put money in it first and in the future you can get a better card

Straighten your mess out with the ex boyfriend first. You might seek out a credit atty to give you advice on how to seperate yourself from that mess. Then if you absolutley need a credit card for emergencies you can access a secured card virtually anywhere however most of them require a bank account of some sort. The fact you dont have a bank account leads me to beleive that you have bigger problems than you should and the only way you are going to get out of an emergency is to get a second job even if it is only temporary and just pay down your debt as quickly as possible.

You can buy one. There are cards out there where you can literally post a bond for it and that amount becomes your credit limit. When you have established a good record of paying on time, they'll let you have a real card.

Try first premier bank, look them up on line, they give ccds to people with bad or no credit, no bank acct, and you don't have to pay them anything. It's not much, but it's a start to get credit or fix bad one. They don't give you much money, but again, it's a start.

1. Visa stands for Visa International Service Association. The company consists of six different entities. Each segment focuses on one particular geographical area, providing offers and meeting regulations that vary from region to region.

2. There is a huge variety of credit cards suited both to the corporate and consumers. For every $100 that consumers spend, approximately $14.60 is spent with a Visa-branded product.

3. More than 500 million Visa credit cards are currently circulating in United States. This is the nations leading electronic payment brand.

4. No credit cards are directly issued by Visa. An association of member banks provide cards to its wide customer base.

5. Visa is accepted in over 150 countries around the world. This makes it as one of the most universal credit cards available. The wide acceptance of Visa is substantiated by the fact that more than 20 million merchants accept Visa cards across the globe.

6.Security for its cardholders is the first priority for Visa. To achieve this Visa has adopted a "Continuous Monitoring" system. Unusual credit card transactions are quickly tracked and recorded. Visa also has a free helpline for identity theft.Get more information about visa credit card at: http://www.credit-card-gallery.com/visa_credit_card.html
