Hey Man....I have the very same question...but i think it does not take a genious rummage through your belongings and aquire valuable information. There are security cameras everywhere and I am certain Ex Convicted Felons as well as Unconvicted ones watching everything we do. You are a part of the family of man which is the most intelligent and dangerous preditor on the face of this Universe as far as we can know.
I have been victim to the very same thing and you must watch your credit history very closely because people can muck up this with the three main companies with all kinds of stupid erroneaus entries. If you can develop a persona that will only serve to destroy an ID theft then that is what you want to do. |

Could have been anyone that took it for payment, even if you see the swipe machine, there can still be a scanner attached to it run by cc thieves
ATMs have had false facias put over them so your card is swiped by a cc thief before it reaches the real ATM machinery |

Do you shred your statements and bills? When you DID use it, did you use it online with a known company who uses Secure Checkout? If you used it over the phone, were you using a portable phone or were you in public yelling your cc # out for the world to hear?

Lots of times, its just a glitch where it is one or two numbers off and it goes through anyway. In this day and age, if you don't have a secure card... you shouldn't have one at all!
And NEVER EVER use it on the internet! A "secure" site, aint what it used to be... |
