gabriel i | How do I fix my bad credit? |
I have bad credit. I have already consulted a "professinal credit counseler" but got a half *** response. I am not ready to pay additional money to have someone else fix my problem. I have had bad credit for about 2+ years now. I used to have decent credit. It is estimated that I have around $20,000 owed. I would like to do this myself and contact the creditors, collectors and banks myself. I just want to know what would be the right approach so that they get paid and my credit report will show that I have made and effort to do the rigth thing? I have a family and would like to buy a house one day. I also want to go into law enforcement. So credit is important to me. Any advice would help. Thanks |

Have seen lots of people asking info on bad credits. Well, if you need to get your problem solved on<!--bad credit, you must know to how to confront it. Of course, Even if you have bad credit, you can get loans. Many factors can contribute to someone getting a "bad credit" rating, among these are non-payment of an account or late payments over an extended length of time. You may find a bad credit loan here,
http://badcredits.awardspace.com/
You may find want you want. You can easily be labelled as a bad credit risk by financial companies. This can make it more difficult to-->arrange loans or other finance, and usually means you will pay more interest on any loan you take out. |

The credit repair companies only do the leg work.
For you to do this your self you must, dispute the blemishes
on your credit constantly,
The thing is if they ignore your dispute the incident gets wiped.
if you send them disputes constantly they get confused and toss it aside thinking it has already been handled.
This gets you dispute ignored, |

Well, I don't know your details, but if you don't pay your bills, especially credit cards, and collection bills, then they take your score down. It basically tells people that you will borrow, but won't repay what you owe them. To fix the problem, you need to pay what you owe. Once you do that, then in about 5-7 years, you may find a loaner to give you another chance. Thats the jest of it. Ron |

I went and called everyone i owed and i said i know I owe you this money and i want to pay it off, But I need you to stop or lower the interst rates, and late fees and we work some thng out, most of them said yes, some got really hatefull and said noe so i hung the phone up called back and ask to talk to the manger, if that dont work call back and ask for someone over them, also ask them how much would they take off your bill if you paid it today, alot people they just want their money and they will settle for part of it, I had a bill of 869, but most of them was for late fees, i paid 500. it was paid in full. but make sure you get it in writing or on tape that they agreed to what you asked them that way they cant come back and say they didnt say that, i also started with my smallest bill and if i had the money pay it off, the monthly payments i was making to the old one i but on the second oldest one, untill they were all paid off, I hope this helps, Do not buy anything you dont need until you get them paid off, no credit cards, most people will work with you if they see you are wiling to make an effort. the ones that dont tell them ok well tehn i will have to but you at the buttom of my list and you will be the last ones i pay. |

Anybody can have a bad credit record. Mistakes do happen. But what we should do is not to repeat the mistakes.
Follow the same advice when it comes to loans. If you have a bad credit history, then go for a bad credit loan. It is a feasible loan option to let you fulfill your financial goals. A bad credit history can include arrears, defaults, bankruptcies, County Court Judgments etc.
Usually, adverse credit loans are given as secured bad credit loan options. The lenders prefer the secured loan option to reduce their risk. Normally, they http://www.freewebs.com/getanswer/BadCreditLoans.html |

Negotiating the settlements is not hard. The hard part is sending dispute letters to the 3 bureaus and the followup. I agree, do not pay a professional top dollar to do this for you. The key is to have correctly worded letters that the bureau will accept and not something that they toss right away. With letters that cite key consumer laws and such, you get their attention and keep it. You have to understand that they are bombarded with paperwork and strive to clear their desks however they can. These letters and other tips are available at the source website. Good luck. |
