You really need to consider the type and bank of credit cards you are applying for. I wonder advise you to try First Premier or Orchard Bank. They are for people reestablishing and starting new credit. They will give you a small limit but make sure you keep the payments on time and they will eventually raise you limit. After about a year you can apply for another credit card and will probably get approved. You can also apply for a secured card with your bank or credit union. |

Jewelry stores are the easiest way to get credit. Apply in person, and purchase something inexpensive like a charm for 50.00. Then pay 10.00 a month on it so you will build up credit worthiness.

Do you have a bank account with a debit card? If you've had that account for a while and managed it well then you could apply for a card through your bank manager. There is another type of card where you deposit an amount to it, and you can spend up to that amount. You can only spend what you deposit, but if you manage that well you should be on your way to a real credit card. |
