How do I get a credit report when I don't have a credit card, but I am a victim of ID theft?

Are you thinking you need to pay for your reports?

You don't need a credit card to obtain your credit reports.

You can get all 3 free from here...

Victims (or even if you suspect) of ID Theft are allowed a free credit report, you don't need to pay for it, and won't need a credit card.

Check out the link below as it will give you some advice on how to proceed with this. It's government site, no spam....

You can get your credit report , if you have a credit card or not.
go to www.annualcreditreport.com
or call 1-877-322-8228

For identy theft
equifax 18005256285
experian 18883973742
TransUnion 18006807289

Once you alert them it goes on all 3 agencies. IT is a signal to creditors to contact you directly before granting any new credit.

Even thought you don't have a credit card there should still be info on you at the three major credit reporting bureaus. Also, your bank can give you info on your credit report. Any kind of loan, i.e. mortgage, car, furniture etc is reported. Your on time payments and etc are kept on file. The best way is to go to your bank. They can help the most. Also, go on-line search credit reporting bureaus. Yes, you usually have to pay a fee for the report, but is worth it. If you have applied for a loan or anything of that sort, you can get the report for free. You are also intitled to one free report a year. Again, go to your bank, they will have all the info you need.

Good Luck

All americans can get a copy of their creit report for free once a year...at www.annualcreditreport.com. It is the ONLY website you can get your report for free once a year, with no credit card or anything of that sort.

If you have been a victim you will be able to access the necessary credit bureaus right from that website.

good luck

Just contact anyone of the bureaus on line. Experian, Transunion or Equifax. They'll walk you through it and if you are indeed a victim of fraud, assist you with that as well.
