This is a long road ~ however, pay your bills from this day forward is the shortest answer to the question.

Check in on your credit score at least once a year to see what has been deleted and how it is doing.

Be completely and utterly responsible for all of your financial decisions in the future ~ don't EVER spend beyond your means and ability to pay.

In becoming fully responsible for your life in this way ~ you will find yourself in great abundance.

Once your debts are paid, it is 7 years before your credit history is cleared, if you don't keep on trying to get credit cards before that, as that lowers your credit score. Once your time is done, and you have some money, seek for credit even when you don't need it, and make sure you pay any debts with it immediately. This then starts to gives you a good credit score. Maybe taking a loan you don't need but paying it off promptly and completely, also helps build a positive credit history. Otherwise your credit history follows you, so better not to use any credit or cards, but just strictly cash. Someone talked me into a prepaid Mastercard from MoneyMart, but I guess the numbers are coded so I find it's no good on the Internet when many demand a credit card. You can check your own credit score from the 3 major companies like Equifax, ... Some charge but some give you your score for free, without affecting your score versus any place that is checking up on your record when you apply. Don't know your country as that affects your credit history too. It takes time and rules change over time, so research for yourself. Don't trust those who say they give credit regardless, as they have huge consequences that aren't worth it. Good luck. Actually it is a blessing in disguise as your personal information is not so accessible to the major centralization aimed for by big business

DO NOT RESPOND BACK TO THEM. Fight them directly with the Credit companies equifax experian and transunion. If you contact collections, you will verify account. Then you will have three collection companies collecting for the same account. Your credit will get worse!

First, clerify with the credit companies that you don't know who those belong to. Then you do what's best. contact me for this info...I hope you got hidden message

Stop playing the credit card game and worshiping at the alter of the almighty fico score. It doesn't work!

All it gets you is debt. You should know that by now.

Credit cards, along with the fico score was designed by banks to get people into debt and keep them in debt.

Pay as you go. Live on less money than you make and you will not have to worship the fico score.

You need to first learn about credit scoring. We have many video lessons - free - on our website. But i'll try to answer as much here. You want to focus on payment history and balances. So, settle your accts so you are up to date. Lay off credit cards for a bit so your amounts owed is zero. If all your cards are closed, you need to open a new card to start rebuilding, it can be a secured card if that's all you can get approved for, or after a few months of good behavior you might get approved for a low limit unsecured card. Pay it off each month, not the minimum, the whole thing.

The good news is that there are lots of people who have gone from 500s to 700s scores in 18-24 months. Time is your friend.
