Its www.annualcreditreport.com. You dont have to sign up for anything to view your credit reports.
FYI-Freecreditreport.com, you have to use your credit card. annualcreditreport.com is a site designed by the federal government which entitles you to a free copy of your credit report once a year. |

"AnnualCreditReport.com is the official site to help consumers to obtain their free credit report."
From freecreditreport.coms site:
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

www.annualcreditreport.com.
You will then be redirected to one of the three national agencies (Experian, Equifax, TRW). Just pick one of them.
They mostly all have the same information, so just pick one for now. Then in a few months, you can get another free one from one of the other agencies. You can get one free per year from each agency, so if you spread it out across three (say one every four months), you can keep a good eye on your report.
You can also get a free one if you were denied credit, or a job, or any other hardship caused by info on your credit report. The law for that is the fair credit reporting act. |

Impossible.
You can go to freecreditreport.com, and while you have to give them your SSN and debit card number, you can still get your credit report for free.
You will be automatically signed up for credit monitoring, so just cancel within 7 days and you won't be charged. Here's an article on how to cancel: |

You can get one free each year through a government website that brings you to all three of the credit bureaus at once, and you can view it for probably thirty days. It will list the status of all cards and loans and everything else, as well as who has checked your credit recently. It will not, however, give you a score.
If you would like a score, check to see if your bank gives you that as a free service. I have AmEx and just for having a card with them allows you to check your report and score, I think once a year. It doesn't cost anything. |

Everyone is allowed a free copy each year from what the office told me anyway. If you can't find your local office then all you have to do is fill out any kind of form that you know you will be denied for and they must send you all 3 copies free to show you why you were denied. but you say you don't want to go that route so find the office. |

You can get a free report if you apply for something like a credit card or rental of something. If you don't want to do that, you can use an on-line service that gives you a trial period for free |
