I believe you can. Call them the next time they send you one, and tell them you want to opt out. They'll know what you mean.

dougzinboston
Somewhere on the paperwork they sent you there should be an 800 number to call and opt out of credit card junk mail. I just did it the end of last week but since I threw out the application I don't have the number.

Call Capital One and instuct them to ceace mailing to your address. OR you could do what my brother used to do...take other junk mail, put it in the envelope and mail it. It costs the company money since they are paying for the return postage.

silent_shadows23
Do what my grandfather did. Call their customer service line, then tell them to take you name and adress off of their mailing list. Then ask for the manager or supervisor and tell them the same thing.

It worked for him

OptOutPrescreen.com is the official site for this.

I don't fill a thing out and send it back in the pre-paid envelope. They get the hint.

I shred the offer then mailback the shredded pieces their pre-paid envelope. They never sent me one again.

http://www.optoutprescreen.com

This is the site to stop all "pre-screened" credit offers.

It won't stop all offers, but they will no longer be able to do a blind screen on your credit first, reducing their incentive to make you offers.

luciousgreeneyedlady
contact them and tell them if it bothers you that much

My car is financed through Capital One and they send me offers all the time. I keep getting offers through other dealerships all the time. I just ignore them.

Go to http://www.optoutprescreen.com and opt out of "pre-approved" offers. This service was developed by the credit reporting agencies Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. Once you fill out the required information, you will not receive unsolicited credit offers for the next five years.

matt12882003
just apply and get approved then they will stop sending u stuff

Gramms
Probably can't! Just do like I do, put it in the paper shredder!
