pay your bills on time or early. never let one go delinquent. If you buy stuff on a credit card, have enough money to pay off the balance and pay it off immediately or pay extra on your payments.

Another way is to take out a personal loan and consolidate your bills with it. Then make extra payments on the loan.

pay your bills on time

pay ur bills on time

Credit Guy
1. Borrow at least $5,000. just to hold it on deposit. If you just hold it on deposit, you can borrow it with no credit check at creditloader.com.

2. Make payments on the loan for at least 6 months.

3. Give back the deposit to pay off the loan.

Once you finish, you will have borrowed $5,000. and paid it back in 6 months. Your credit will be pumped up, and you can even do more than one of these if you want. NO CREDIT CHECK.

yes, basically thats how it works. just pay them back on time. the best way to build ur credit is by consuming, purchasing, and spending. (lol yeah same meaning)

Credit is based on how you use your credit accounts.
Just paying the regular bills on time has no effect on your credit because paying rent, phone and utilities isn't recorded in your credit report... unless you don't pay and have a garnishment against you.

So, what you need is a Credit Card.
Once you have that only use it very sparingly.
Never use more than 30% of the available limit in a billing cycle and either pay that off completely when the bill comes or at least stop making any additional charges until you have the balance paid off and are back at a Zero balance.
The easiest way: Make one small charge a month (get $20 in gas) and then pay that off immediately when you get the bill. Keep this up and within a year or two you should see your credit score go up.

I have no idea what "elfboy" is talking about but you do not need guerilla tactics to get good credit. Just use common sense and be financially responsible. Using credit cards to improve your credit score is the only good reason for them to exist. Once you have that good score and a positive payment history you can use your credit rating for more important loans like a mortgage.

GUERRILLA TACTICS THAT

CREDIT RATING

LEARNING HOW TO GET CONNECTED WITH
GOOD CREDIT
Obtaining credit can be incredibly easy or extremely difficult. Once you have established credit, it can open doors of opportunity you never even considered. Credit can allow you to take the dream vacation of a lifetime, drive a luxury car, dress in the latest fashions, achieve the American dream of owning your own home, or starting your very own business.

The fact is, now that society has rapidly shifted into the fast-lane of being a cashless society, it would be almost unthinkable not to have credit. People who have the misfortune of losing their good credit rating in today's world, will most certainly immediately begin to feel like social outcasts.
It is a very traumatic experience when people find out something is wrong with their credit. Millions of people have been, and will continue to be notified they now have bad credit. Many don't seem to understand how it all came about! All of a sudden they aren't as well-off as someone who still has good credit.
Without good credit, people soon discover it's difficult to just keep up with the no-frills, everyday existence items that are needed. Unless an individual knows how to improve, increase and repair their own credit, they will have to overcome many obstacles.
Most people don't have the slightest idea of where to begin. But once you read the following "GUERRILLA TACTICS" you will learn how to quickly improve and repair your good credit starting Today!

TO PUT YOUR PLAN IN MOTION YOU MUST
KNOW WHO THE CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES ARE
Credit Bureaus are extremely powerful organizations. Going against a credit reporting agency is almost like a military encounter. Fortunately, once you're armed with the Guerrilla Tactics provided in this report, you can rise to the occasion of winning both the battle and the war!

In the beginning it may appear as if Credit Bureaus have the advantage. After all, if you are an adult living in America, the overwhelming odds are that a credit bureau somewhere knows who you are, where you live, the name of every employer you ever worked for, how many times you applied for credit, how many times you were denied or approved, and how many times you were late in making a payment. Similarly, it's all in a credit report that, once accessed by a subscriber, will tell them whether or not you should receive additional credit. The ultimate decision is arrived at by looking at the entries in your file.

its like this
paying late causes your credit score to go down
paying on time until it is paid off make it go up

and getting credit cards and not using them makes your credit score go up too...

don't use a credit card if you know you won't have the money to pay what you owe at the end of the month

Kj
Pay your bills on time not that you have to pay them off every month but keep it low. And don't have to many credit cards.
