How do you turn bad credit into good credit?

You pay your bills and you keep paying them on time or early, and you pay far more than the minimum balance. You handle your existing credit well, and your score magically gets better.

Pay your bills on time. Repeat for several years.

This takes smart money management skills, no matter what your income level is.

"Buiilding credit can be done in many ways. If you are disappointed at your loan application being turned down, it is mainly because of absence of credit history. You should learn how to do build your credit.

Do not buy unnecessary items. If you are looking to build credit start spending properly.

If you see any errors in your bills or credit, reports, contact the concerned persons immediately.

If you have purchased an item using your your credit card that later turned out to be defective or gave poor service, then you need not pay the charges. But you have to dispute the charges with the parties that were responsible for the act. If they do not replace the item or compensate you for a service or product, you are justified in refusing the payment."

Get 2 or 3 credit cards, and pay them off every month. If you have a car note, or a house mortgage make payments early and also make extra payments in that same month to your principal balance. This will not only help your credit out extremely, but also pay your bills off quicker.

1) First and foremost, pay your bills on time...credit cards, doctor bills, etc. will be reported on your credit when you don't pay...and it will take a long time to get that off! (7 years)
2) If you have negative marks on your credit that you don't agree with, or maybe they were awhile ago, or things were out of your control at the time, write a letter to the creditor to ask that it be taken off. No guarantee, but if you have settled things with this creditor and have good reasoning, they may take it off. I have a friend who did this after getting a divorce when his ex charged all kinds of crap and didn't pay the bills...they were all taken off!
3) If you can, a good way to boost your credit score is to get a credit card(s) and don't use it....don't cancel it though, just leave it as an open account. This increases your ratio of used credit to available credit, and believe it, it will definitely help your credit score. If you have one that is just about paid off, pay it off and leave it as an open account...just don't charge anything on it.
Hope this helps!

Try to make the full payment or else make a payment more than monthly payment. Small steps like paying your bills on time and using only part of the credit available to you. Also use your credit cards for making small payments regularly, so that it is reflected in your credit record. More tips available at http://www.acreditlibrary.com/buildcredit.html

1. Change your identity.
2. Contact one of the three leading credit reporting agencies by phone. and tell one of the employees that you will give them personally $200.00 if they woould go into the reporting agencies computer database and change your score from 400 to 800.
3. Have a friend start a company which reports to one the credit reporting agencies. Have the company set up a loan for you of $1,000,000 with no money actually changing hands. Then have this company report that you paid the company back in 6 monthly payments (Again with no money actually changing hands.
4. Please note after you followed all three steps you may have a good credit record but you may be living someplace that you find unattractive.
