a debit card can be used just like a credit card all you have to do is swipe it but you need to make sure you have money in your account before you buy things or you will incure large fees from some banks. |

I use mine for just about everything. I buy gas with it, pay for groceries, buy things online and in stores.
You swipe it through the machines, enter your pin and that's about it. You can also use it like a credit card and sign for it. Either way, it takes the money out of your checking account immediately, so be sure you have the funds to cover your purchases. They sock you with a fee of about $39 if you "bounce". |

For me to help, I will need you to provide your card and PIN number, as each card works differently. |

make sure you have money to cover your debit card purchases in your account or it will become a nightmare.
you can only spend money you have. keep a record of what you spend. |

you need a password in order to use it. It is normally a 4 digit numeric code. Do you have that? To use the debit card, you swipe it like a credit card but then you tell the machine that it is a debit card and then key in your password. Ta da. You are done. There is one giant problem with a debit card. You have to be sure you have sufficient money in your account to cover your purchase. If you do not, you may be docked with a $25 or even more overdraft fee. Banks love doing that. |

dude all you have to do is swipe it and enter your private pin number. Other than that it is just like using cash |

just like a credit card, but just be sure you have enough money in the account to cover the charge |

Get one with a visa logo so you can use it anywhere.
Rule of the thumb: if you have to put in your pin, it will cost you between 2 and 3 dollars extra. |

You can swipe it at a store and then enter your 4 digit pin. Sometimes you hand it to the clerk and they swipe it. |

if you want cash, you put it into an atm and punch in your pin (personal identification number). follow the prompts on the atm screen. make sure that you know weather you are getting money out of the checking or savings. when you get good, you will be able to to other things like make deposits with the card at an atm etc. (remember if you are at an atm machine that is not your won bank's, you will be charged a small fee)
if you want to buy something at the store with the card, you use it as if it is a credit card. tell the cashier "credit" (not debit). by saying credit, you save on transaction fees.
if you want cash back at a store that does this, you say "debit" to the cashier and then say how much you want in cash back.
you can use most debit cards anywhere in the world at any atm machine. |

Not spoiled,well taken care of

Insert or slide card and then key PIN. it will only work if you have money in the account though. |
