Your score sounds like it should be high enough to get you a decent loan. It of course depends on the amount you will be trying to finance and the dealer that you will be working with. Some offer no credit checks while some even call and verify employment. Best of luck. |

well depends on how much car loan you will have to take for financing the car...
687 should be good enough though. |

i had 750 and i just got a lexus with 0 down and 4.94% APR. This might shed some light on your situation. |

The closer to 700 (and surpassing 700) means better chances to get loans, lower rates, and a great deal.
687 is really good. |

You shouldn't have a problem
It probably will depend upon how much of a loan you'll need and what your other debt is as well. |

It can really save you a lot of running around to just get an auto loan quote on the web to see what todays rates are. You might be really happy. Also if your credit is not good, a lot of online loaners are more willing to help people.
What I usually tell friends is that an online quote at http://auto.lowratetoday.com is a no brainer. |

Your credit score is fine to get a loan, but really Dealerships and Lenders like 700 or better. It also depends what kind of car you are looking to get. If you want a Kia they will work with you, but if you are looking to get a BMW they are little tighter in their lending belts. |

It has to be really, really horrible to actually be denied the loan. Like you abused several credit cards and they went to collections and aren't being paid.
A 687 score doesn't mean you'll be disqualified, just you'll get a less better interest rate than someone with higher credit. |

I do not think that your score would be a problem. While you are looking for a good rate and shopping around, I suggest you ask each dealer what they would be willing to offer in terms of apr or amount borrowed. |

Depends on who is giving you the loan. Some places will give you a car loan with nothing more than a few paycheck stubs and a checking account. But that type of loan will have a very high interest rate and you will be paying for the car long after its worth. Also, you may have a high credit score sometimes, but your history isnt there, meaning you have not had credit for long enough. Sometimes this is worse as I found out. Best thing to do is get a car for as low an interest rate as possible, pay on it for a year and dont miss a payment and refinance. Then you'll have a lower rate and better credit |

Most places don't use the score to make loans. After they decide to give you a loan, they will use the score to decide what rate to offer. |
