I recently placed a paycheck into my checkings account at commerce bank, along with a 100 in cash.
So far it only shows the 100 in cash that I placed and not the paycheck. I placed paycheck I'd say about 12ish into the account. Is it because its a weekend and will appear on Monday? |

Most banks will post a check deposited into an account at midnight of the first business day. So if it was deposited on Saturday, for example, then funds would not be available until Tuesday morning and 12:00am. But it also would depend on the status of the account (new account) or if the account is and has been in good standing. Banks have the option on new or previously "bad standing" accounts to hold fund availability up to 10 days. This can even be done if it is an out of town check or a check unfamiliar to the teller. Any holds placed would be at the banks discretion. |

Well that all together is a problem with your bank. Obviously that have place a hold on your check. You have to call them and find out how long the hold was for. Because in banks, checks don't show up in your account when they have cleared the other bank. They funds become available when your bank decides to release the funds to you. Normally paychecks aren't held so you might want to have a little chat with you bank representative. |

Depends on your banks checking policy...it may appear Monday morning...however some banks have a waiting period for the check to clear first. Some, will only make part of the balance available to you. You really need to talk to a banking rep at your branch to see what the policy is. Mine, will only make 1/2 available on the next business day unless it is direct deposit. |

Depends on the type of business check. If its a real payroll check than the funds should be available by Tuesday (since its the weekend). If you get paid on a business check, then it may take a few more days.
My bank, wells fargo, posts payroll in 1 business day and business checks in 3-4. |

It'll show up on Monday. Most checks come right in. There's always certain checks that take way longer but if it's a paycheck, you'll be good by Monday! |

Most banks will post a check to your account right away if you give it to a teller. If you do a deposit by machine b4 the end of the business day, it usually posts by the next day. But if u do it over the weekend, you should see it by Monday morning, unless the put a 7-10 day hold on it. |
