Since they told you to reject the package when it comes to your house, it could be a timely process, depending on whether you used a credit card or pay pal.
The problem is, they cannot refund your money if they have already marked the package as sent.
Reason being, if the package is in transit, and if they were to refund your money after transit but before it was delivered, you could easily accept the package and then claim you never received it. Nothing to stop you since they have already refunded your money. Not saying you would do this but there is nothing to stop you.
Very few businesses will refund monies until they have proof that you never actually received the package.
Some businesses now actually purposely make refunds a long and lengthy process by making you reject the package, then emailing them, then they email you back a code, then you have to snail mail them the code... it's very convoluted and purposely done to make the buyer wait for the refund. It's a shady practice and most reputable companies will not do this but some do.
So there's no real answer to your question except to say, depending on your method of payment and the business you ordered from and the timely process of your credit card company, it can be anywhere from 7 days to 90 days. And yes, it is legal. |

Unfortunately it depends on a number of factors, such as where the item came from [location] and how long it takes to be returned to them, then for them to issue the refund will depend on their staff.
Unfortunately, refunds will probably not be top priority.

i believe its 24 hours. i would check on the web page. some places dont get your money back until they have there product back to the warehouse. i would go check up on that and make sure. |
