How long should I wait before getting another credit card?
In April, I got approved for a Orchard Bank and Public Savings card. I've been using them and paying them off before the due date. Now I'd like to get a Best Buy / ABC Warehouse / Sears / Walmart card so that I can buy a LCD tv. My Equifax fico score is 659. Negatives wise, I only have 1 old PAID charge-off.
Would my credit score go down if I was to apply for another card in June (2 months after opening the other two cards)? I can pay off this card in 4-6 months and would only use it for buying this tv and if it's a sears card, then I can use it for other things.
I just don't know if I can get approved for a major credit card and get a $2000 limit so that I can buy a tv under $1000.

Too many new cards too fast. Wait at least 12 months.

Use the current card 6-9 months and then request them to increase the limit. Sometimes they do without even checking your score and based on the usage pattern. So never default on your card.
