Congratulations, way to go!
I have credit cards because it's good to build yourself a history of good credit. But I never spend more than I actually have and I always pay my statements on time.
So yay, I'm not in debt either! |

I am down to about 20,000. My aunt died & put the funeral on a card. Car needed work 2,000 added. Couldn't sell her house, paying an extra mortgage, association fees & utilities have to keep it up to show it. And I do need to eat. |

I have no debt.
My parents were very non-credit card users so basically if they didn't have the money they wouldn't buy it in most cases, so I guess I have just learned from them.

Quite a few thousand...
When my father and business partner started our company... We had to use the credit cards to keep a'float after the housing market crashed.
Now we are working hard to pay it off.
It kept us alive and able to pay off the bills so it was worth it. |

Zero. I don't own a credit card. My dad was VERY "anti-credit."
He said that if you wanted something badly enough, you would save up for it. A little at a time.
And if you couldn't get it that way - you didn't need it.
He was right! |

Well my husband and I work 3 full time jobs between us and have 3 kids.... Money is really tight and we have about 5k in CC debit. We don't even do useless spending, just the way the economy is.. It sucks to work so hard and only to have all the prices on everything go up and not your paychecks. |

I have one credit card left to pay off. However, my debt is nearly all due to medical, veterinarian and repair bills. My parents debt is all due to prescriptions.
LifeIsGood needs to understand that not having a credit card can be as bad as misuse of credit. My uncle learned that the hard way. His kids wised up. |

I have just about $1,500... and im only 19 got caught up in a credit card and started not making payments... dont know why i'm so stupid, and now the only way to make the payment is the whole thing, and i dont have the money so now it keeps racking up.. ugh it's sooo stressful :(.. Never again when i get this all straightened out will i EVER apply for another credit card. |

I dont even have a credit card anymore, I paid it off and cut it up But my friend is close to 30,000 in debt. what a strain thats been on her. she's doing her best to double up on payments and get it down but its gonna take a bit |
