Is not good to have a credit card if you are 16 years old. what you can do is tell your parents to include you in their account and give you a card. Is very important to pay on time. I assume you have a job right? |

yes! you are to young. what you can do is have your parents go and put money on a visa card and you can use it like a credit card but there will be a limit... ((however much you have them put on the card)) |

Credit cards work on the idea that you buy now and pay later , it sounds simple but if it was banks wouldn't make billions a year from people who use this product ,there is allot involved and I mean charges , things like interchange fees , bank charges , merchant charges and the list goes on all these fees are relatively small bur put together they can add up.You need to be aware of all these charges before thinking about getting a credit card and then you still have to be careful how you use it. You are 16 I think that just the right age to get into debt up to your neck because you aren't given enough info from banks but thats how they make money and thats how you lose it . end of the day be informed be responsible and credit cards can be a tool not a problem |
