The prepaid cards at walmart are cool but you have to pay 25.oo to start the card and then they take a fee each montH....but at "longs drug store" (DON'T KNOW WHERE U ARE)THEY HAVE THE AMERICAN EXPRESS PREPAID CARDS AND ALL YOU HAVE TO PAY IS THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT YOU WANT ON THE CARD AND THEY DON'T TAKE A FEE,BUT IT EXPIRES IN ONE YEAR. |

well you can get a prepaid credit card but there are some catches to it
you have to "prepay the money on card say its $25.00
then there is activation charge which could run you $5.00
so your prepaid card is costing you $30.00
then sometimes its NOT accpected by some merchants
or you then have to go register your card on the credit card
company website
and if you don't use there is a monthly fee for non-use |

Wall-Mart, CVS, Walgreens all have them - Prepaid cards come in various $$ amounts - If you get a Greendot Visa card you can reload $$ onto it at any store - Keep in mind all of these companies charge a fee of a $2 or $3 every month that you have money available on the card. |
