I have a couple of tips for you that should help out:
1. Open a checking account- while this may not directly build credit, it will establish a realtionship with a bank which in time will allow you to become a "preferred customer" and become eligible for other products.
2. Another thing would be to open a secured credit card. Basically, you can think of this as building credit with a savings account because a deposit that's usually tied to a savings account is placed upfront in order to get the same amount in a credit line. The deposit gains interest while you're building credit and can be added to at any time in order to increase the credit line. As long as the balance owed is kept fairly low, and paid on time every month, usually after a year, the card converts to an unsecured card or a better card's offered, and the deposit is refunded back with interest. 3. Enroll with PRBC. It's an alternative credit bureau that reports monthly payments like rent, utlities, insurance, cellular, as "alternative credit" as a means to help establish credit. Easiest and fastest way is get a couple secured credit cards, they are cards where the balance of credit is secured against the amount of money you give them up front, they can be started with as little as $300. Most banks provided secure card services and there are a ton of them on-line. Once you get a secured card. use it like you do a debit card however each month pay it completely off. In 6 months you will have credit history sufficient to move forward but let me say more credit will be issued the longer you show you have had it (sorry). Good luck |

As you have no credit so it will be difficult for you to get one. Discovery has a crd with 0% intro apr and many rewards also this card may help. To get this card you have to apply online and see if you get. If you don't get try others. And remember to pay your bills on time to keep your credit score good.

get a loan for no other reason than to pay it back . go to the bank and tell them you want establish a good rating so you can get a motrgage. they will assume you will get it from them so they'll be all over it. |
