On a debit card u need money on it.So maybe you just haven't put any money on it or your parent has deactivated it because to have a debit card you have to have a parent sign stuff and put money on it.Hope that helps

You might want to see if there is a sticker on the back to activate it. If there is and you haven't called the number on it, call it and activate it. If you have already done this check with the bank. Your age shouldn't matter because I am under 18 and have a debit card and it works fine. Also I remember that when my sister had one and she tried to use it more than 3 times or something around that number that it wouldn't work. Hope you figure it out!

You have to call the 1-800 # on the back of the card. Everyone has been saying it must not be activated.

If it's not working, you should check with your bank.

Age doesn't matter. I had one when I was 16 and it worked fine. If it is a joint account (and it would probably need to be) then the main card might not be activated, or your card isn't activated.
