Suggest:
1. Cut up any credit card cards, reduce overdraft limits etc to prevent the debt getting any worse.
2. Contact Citizens Advice Buereau for help.
3. Consider consolidating your debts which will means lower monthly payments but over a longer term. This will give you some breathing space to find your feet again.
4. Keep your spending to the bare essentials - food, water, clothes etc. If it means no going out for a while, or buying that new CD then so be it.
Good luck

get a Saturday job - plunge that money into paying off credit cards - having snapped them up. Rationalise your spending... I spent six weeks in - borrowing DVDs rather than renting etc. and tightened my belt. The saving paid off my credit card - the minimum payment was only just covering the interest.
If you can get an overdraft extension to pay off the credit card - or use a balance transfer on it and cut up the new card to get yourself back off the slippery slope.
