I'm trying to rebuild my credit, just looking for "easy" to get credit cards, no secure ones. Thanks.
It's pretty much what I said, trying to rebuild, looking for credit cards that don't require much of a history and no secured ones. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Everybody's posted their answers, so now I'll post mine. Just like Ice and some of the other posters said, there are some department store cards that are fairly easy to get, but as far as major credit cards, the only one that comes to mind is Orchard Bank. They offer cards for people either starting out or starting over. Chase may have one or 2. But honestly, secured cards can help you more than you think. Yes, you would have to put a deposit upfront to get a credit limit in the same amount, but the deposit gains interest while you're building credit, so in a sense it's like building credit with a savings account. Another advantage is that you have more control of the credit line instead of being at the mercy of the credit card company. Whenever you add to the deposit, it increases your credit line. The more you add, the higher your limit gets and the more interest you generate off the deposit. And as long as you pay on time and charge lightly to keep the balance low, you'll get the deposit back with interest and either the card will convert into a regular card or you'll be offered a better card.

Look, I know that you're wanting to rebuild. And you're looking for an "easy" way out. But unfortunately that's hardly ever the case when it comes to credit. The "easy" cards usually have high interest rates, and fees out the ying-yang that makes it not even worth having. I know that you don't want a secured card, but I posted links to some good ones that are better than some unsecured ones out there. Like I mentioned earlier, try out Orchard Bank they offer credit cards for rebuilding credit, and they also offer a pretty good secured card in the event that you're not approved for a regular one.

My advice is to get a major oil company credit card and avoid using any other credit cards. Pay in cash...not credit.

Our credit isn't great right now either, so we want to work on building it back up. Orchard Bank (subsidiary of HSBC) gave us a card. Interest rate isn't too bad, although they only did a limit of $400....but that's okay....it is just to rebuild credit. We use it periodically for small purchases and pay it off within a couple of months each time.

You can try Aqu,Capital one and vanquis. I think capital one is the best one to try because they have a great internet site where you can monitor your account. They will send the card out right way if you are accepted.
I think you should only try vanquis if there is no other option because they have very high interest rates.

Try First Premier Bank or Orchard Bank. They both are unsecured credit cards for bad credit, but they do come with annual fees.

Here is a list of credit cards for people with bad credit http://www.ccvault.com/credit_cards/bad_credit.php I recommend Orchard.

Store cards are the easiest to get these days. Kohls, Old Navy, Gap, ect ect.

I know someone who got a capital one credit card with a credit score around 580. So I can assume that they are not the strictest company out there for sure....

You can make credit eventhough you have a bad credits history.
