take a bit of friendly advice,materialistic things are just what they are,materialistic? if you cant afford it,go without. that's lesson one. if you want some thing,save for it and buy it cash. there is absolutely no point getting yourselves further into debt, by going to these company's for people with bad credit,and then getting charged extortionate interest rates,so you end up paying twice the amount the goods were worth in the first place. if you cant afford it...go with out!
and this is for the balloon above me,its not stupid behaviour...have you ever heard of redundancies,and company closures, and having to finish work through ill health!
i suggest you get your head out of the clouds,life isnt a bed of roses for every one. |

You don't get a whole new credit file when you change your name. The best thing for you to do is to stay away from credit, and pay off any outstanding debt. |

You might need to talk to a financial advisor about rebuilding your current credit record. |

No, you cannot. Your credit history is based on your social security number. If your future husband has good credit, do not apply for any credit jointly, let him do it separately. Derogatory trade lines disappear from your credit reports after seven years. Sorry, but you might just have to wait it out, and then begin to rebuild your credit history. |

The first thing to do is find out why you have got a bad credit rating. Contact http://www.equifax.co.uk and/or http://www.creditexpert.co.uk and for a few pounds they will send you your file with the problems causing your credit rating to be poor. If the issues are resolved you can apply to have them removed.
After that, a good tip is to use and cards you have responsibly and pay them off on time every month and therefore build your credit rating back up.
