i have terrible credit and i have a Orchard Bank First Premier and Continental credit cards Orchard and Premier are the best ones to me Continental sucks! I had my first premier for less than a month and they already reported to all three credit bureaus which is great :) |

Hi!
Yes..avoid First Premier..too many fees. Wells Fargo has a excellent secured card for existing customers (just means you need to sign up for a checking account first) and that's no big deal.
usbank used to have one as well..I'll have to research that, though. |

I've seen Orchard advertised. They sound reasonable. But no matter which you choose, just pay it off at time of due payment or at least get your payments in ON TIME. Good Luck, this situation could/can happen to anyone. |

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.
I will hereby talk from my personal experience.
I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,

probably not. if you have bad credit you shouldn't tempt yourself by owning one.
Obviously you are not yet financially responsible and or possibly educated in handling your money.
A overlooked fact is credit cards are not a good thing for people without money. So many eople get them as a means of financing purchases and this eventually gets them in trouble. A credit card shoul;d only be used as a convinient way to pay for thins so you do not have to carry cash. If you do not have the money to pay for your purchase don't buy it...Lets |

I found a good way to build strong credit. When I got my car loan, I arranged everything so that my payment was due on the day I got paid every month (I get paid via direct deposit to my checking account), and had the bank automatically take the payment out of my account. Every month, the paycheck gets put in and the payment comes out in the same day without me ever having to do anything and it is virtually impossible to miss a payment. |
