You don't want a credit card. You don't need a credit card.
College is soon enough--at 16 there is no way you can control your money. Get a debit card to learn how to manage your money FIRST and then, if you're ready in 2 years, move up to a credit card. |

Don't get a credit card. You're asking for trouble. |

Gotta have a parent or guardian co-sign with you. My kid was 16 when he went to college. I co-signed and he got one. |

NO! Credit Cards SUCK! I'm 18 and still do not have one, because I choose not to. PLEASE save yourself from the worry and pain and agony of debt, do not get a credit card until you are much older and can afford the consequences of a credit card! Just enjoy being 16 and get a check card. |

Trust me, at that age you cant risk going in debt and being able to play all the fees included in a credit card. If you cant pay it off, you get a very bad credit, which means banks wont give you money for a morgage or car loan. If you really need one, your parents can sign for you, in any company, agrreing that if you are in debt and cant pay it, they will. |

If you make tons of money you can get a credit card regardless of your age. I'm sure Paris had a platinum Amex when she was a pre-teen.
1. Make gobs of money.
2. Pay a flunky to get you a credit card. |

You have to be 18 unless you want prepaid. |

If you have a large enough income worthy of a credit card, you don't need to find them, THEY will find YOU.
Good luck. |

You can't enter a contract until you are 18. AND SHOULDN'T. PAY CASH.
Why are you in a hurry to start screwing up your credit?!
and XOXOXOX has a DEBIT card, not a CREDIT card. |

You can't get a credit card at 16...sorry! You probably should hold off on getting one when you're older anyway, since they usually cause problems. I got my first card when I was 18, and it all went crazy after that! Maybe you should start with a small loan to begin building your credit - when you're 18 of course. Good luck and be careful! |

None without lying or using your parents card. At 16 you are not of legal age to get binded to that type of responsibility or commitment. You only have two years to go. |
