lol - You've got a clean slate. May I suggest keeping it that way and not getting back into debt again |

You obviously didn't learn your lesson. Why would you want to get back into debt after you've already been bankrupt? I would be afraid of repeating the same behaviours again..... Why not save up for it instead? |

You can try for one of these credit cards http://www.ccvault.com/credit_cards/bad_credit.php |

Don't bother honestly just leave it. What ever it is do without, you'll get charged higher interest and you'll get back in a rut and it's not worth it....Learn from your past! |

These days most people recommend staying away from credit cards like the plague, and make do with a Bank account with a decent sized overdraft facility + a debit card (preferably a VISA debit card).
Check out the Credit Cards section on The Motley fool

Hiya, I know you have been discharged from bankcruptcy but it remains on your credit file for 6 years, so I would suggest going somewhere that claims to give credit no matter what. Capitalone are the best, they advertise that they will approve anyone who applies, as long as you dont go applying for a platinum card!
I forgot to add, check your credit report again, as it will tell you when it was last updated. It may not be showing because it hasnt been updated yet. Not by experian, but by the companies you had credit with etc. |

If you go to www.moneysupermarket.com and go to the credit card or loan section that have a thing called 'Smart Search', you need to put in your date of birth and postcode, then complete the form according to your circumstances, they ask you various questions about your credit history and will advise on companies that are more likely to accept you.
To be honest (and of course I don't know your personal circumstances), I would go along with what a few people have said about not getting credit unless you absolutely have to, mainly because as a discharged bankrupt the interest rate you will be offered is likely to be astronomical to reflect this. |

Christopher P, leave her alone. You don't know her circumstances and therefore you are not in a position to judge.
Anyway, getting back to the question; may I suggest you look at www.moneysupermarket.com. Also, your local CAB should be able to advise you on this. |

If you just declared bankruptcy, why not wait before jumping in another credit card. You are free from debt? Are you not? So, enjoy that freedom. Credit cards will only set you back and once again, enslave you.(lol) A little dramatic, I know. Anyways, wait a little longer, and you are going to see pre-approvals, pre-qualify offers in the mail up the ying-yeng.
If you are looking for a way to create extra income,
Why not own your own F*REE online mall? It is free and you can do it from home.
Visit: http://www.mypowermall.com/biz/home/1465...
It will tell you all the info you need and how to get started. It is absolutely free, no catch, no gimmicks, no tricks. Easy to do from home. |
