I have got 5 credit cards all with high monthly payments I need one loan to pay off these debts and nobody will help.
I am a council tenant, self employed cash in hand with only commission slips to prove my income. My working tax gets paid into my bank account so I have bank statements just showing my tax credits. On all these cards I pay every month and never missed a payment ( Why dont they take this into account). I would never miss a loan payment as it would be direct debit I just need to reduce my monthly payments Does anyone know a sympathetic lender that will help me. Without going through debt management agency?
I go to all these companies that say they can help and they all say no, what am I to do?

Have you tried to switch the cards to lower interest cards, presumably your credit rating is okay ? so try applying for cards with lower rates on the interest and then switching to those cards, cards like capitalone.com who might be able to give a limit that allows you to get rid of some of the cards down to say three or four. Presumably you need at least one or two cards so thats an option.
Another suggestions is take a look in the financial pages of the "Daily Mirror/Mail" there are always loan firms advertsing in there for debt consolidation loans, do it while you are able to before things get out of hand. Sounds like you are having a bit if a struggle there. |

First off the more credit apply for the worse your credit rating will get. Try phoning the consumer credit counselling service, they are a registered charity and are fantastic! I've got debts that I'm struggling to pay since taking a paycut and have literally just got of the phone from them. They will contact your creditors for you and organise a debt management plan. As a charity they are have excellent relations with pretty much all creditors and are very respected. They gave me immediate advice today such as opening a different bank account and cancelling non priority direct debits until my phone appointment in a couple of weeks and they gave me a refernece number in case anyone calls me.. They were so friendly and really understanding. I tried to consolidate my debts and it got me into even deeper debt so please don't go down that route. Don't try debt management companies either as they'll charge you. Good Luck, I know exactly how you feel. I feel now like I've had a weight taken of my shoulders! |

Don't try for the loan with your bank as they will look at your bank account performance as well as your credit score. Go with a company that will pay off your credit cards with the money they lend you instead of just giving you a lump sum to use yourself, as this is usually more security for the company. Finally don't try for too many as the more applications you do the weaker ur credit becomes |

i think that this is really the wrong place for advice. don't give up on the major lenders until you have exhausted them all. try the cooperative bank maybe ? there are also credit unions in some towns. why not visit your citizens advice bureau. don't post questions like this here, you will just get a load of idiots like manchestaguy. |

If you are in debt the last thing that you want is to get a loan. Join up with a subscription team and you can make £5000 a month. In two months, you could have £10000, which covers the amount you want a loan for and it is yours so you don't have to pay it back. I have been there, done that and I know which team to get on, most of them are rip-offs but I know the genuine ones. |

Hi, you need to sell some of your stuff to repay your credit card.
As a self employee you should know credit card is worse loan you can get. You might have to switch credit card with lower interest or 0% interest + 2.5 % charges, but that is a temporary, you need to earn more to be able to pay all your debt quicker. Don't be despare, put on target that you will pay them all without other debt in certain time, believe in it and you will be surprise that you can achieve it. Also you need to change your lifestyle which get you into this debts. |

I have used a website www.morrisonclarke.co.uk i found on a directory a while back and they were able to get me accepted for an unsecured loan and i was on benefits at the time. If i remember rightly they offer most financial services for people with all types of financial problems and needs. Their advisors was really nice and sympathetic with my needs so i would give these guys a go. Hope this helps |
