You can't loan against money you do not have. Once you have money, and its in your account, you can borrow more.

The only way to borrow with out having money is having a job for 3-6 months, that assures you have extra income and finical stablity, also having things that the bank views as being worth money, better known as collateral. Being in school or having schooling for a lucrative career can get you some debt via the bank as well.

Having a co-signer will help with both approval and amount of money available to you. If someone trusts you and knows your getting this money, they could help you get money from the bank now, and if you don't pay, they are forced to pick up your tab, your credit rating would be hurt if you default.

You're gonna inherit 10 mil and You're buying a secondhand van? You're either a pikey or a liar.

no bank that I know of would do this.

written proof and a court order aren't the same. anyone can forge "written proof" and all the banks have seen this tried before.

While I expect the loan to go through, It's far cheaper to wait the two weeks. You would pay a hefty sum for their loan.

Mugwug
Like most everyone else said. Wait two weeks, then buy as many vans as you would like.

Still, sounds odd to me.

There is a simple solution. Wait.

Having said that ...

If you are inheriting $10m you have no need for a van.

Seriously - you have the money when you have the money. Until then, it is unlikely you will be lent the money.

No bank in the world would lend you a penny until the cheque is in the bank, at least.

bettercreditcontrol
As most of the other answers, no bank would loan on that, however, there are investors that would, but beware of them, my advise, wait for those 2 weeks.

Barbie V
wait until you have the inheritance good luck

wow, nearly 11 million - enjoy it.

did you inherit it by answering an email from Omar the Sultan of Brunai because friends of his family had killed his father and he must get the money safely out of the country, and that all you had to do was wire $3000 to an offshore bank account for processing fees?
