You did not provide enough information to get the best answer, but right off the bat I would say, NEVER give your credit card information to anyone you don't know over the phone.
The fact that they said it was a drawing is a flag that it is a scam and I have seen many. If I were you, I would report this to your credit card company and they will watch your account for activity. Notify them at once and they will advise you on the best course of action to take. In the future, NEVER offer your personal information to anyone over the phone or on-line, especially if they approached you from nowhere. Credit card fraud and theft if worse than ever and the internet is a nesting ground for these thieves.
Be careful in the future. |

Cancel your cc immediately!! You got scammed - why else would they need the security code of the back of the card?!? |

No "contest" would require your credit card number. CANCEL it ASAP! |

Cancel Immediately, it was a scam |

Yes.
If there's any chance of identity theft, you need to drop a nuke on it.
Cancel the card, and cancel any accounts you might have given them access too.
Then Google "2299855545", and see if something comes up. |

Call you credit card company ASAP. Then call your local police department or go to them and file a report and give them the phone number that called you. They will more than likely give you a speech about not giving personal information to people on the phone, but a police report will help protect you in case a purchase has already been made. |

If you never entered any contest or drawing then it is a way to steal your identity and your money. They can now use your card number to buy whatever they want. This will destroy your credit and you will be liable for any charges they make. Cancel your card, call the bank and inform them. Don't ever give anyone your card number. or any personal information.whether it be by phone, e-mail or regular mail. |

How did you think that you won a contest that you never entered?
Yes, it's a scam. Cancel the card and ask customer service to read you a list of all recent activity since the day you gave away you credit. |

The number is listed as a magazine promotion company. You may have "signed up" for some magazines you didn't intentd to, or it could be a scam. See details here:
http://local.yahoo.com/details?fr=dd-local-tl1&id=43912119
Call your credit card company immediately and let them know what happened. They may have to reissue your card to you just to be safe.
