I can I get a auto loan with no credit on an $8,000 car?
I'm only 19, so I have no credit. Is there anyway to get a loan/money to buy a Jeep Wrangler from a dealership?

.AT 19 WITH OUT CREDIT THE LAST THING YOU NEED IS THE TYPE OF LOAN THEY WOULD ISSUE . THE SMARTER WAY IS START OUT WITH A CHEAP ONE THAT YOU CAN PAY CASH FOR , THEN WORK YOUR WAY UP .

I've bookmarked this site...

Because your question has the world 'loan' in it, you're getting offers for "Advance Fee Loan Fraud" from just about every scammer working Yahoo Answers... (Don't worry, the rest will check in too!) Unfortunately, Yahoo refuses to DO anything about the scammers, preferring to enable them... Here are some tips for determining whether a loan is legitimate or a scam:
1) They don't use a free email address (yahoo, gmail, hotmail, live, etc)
2) They have a secure website you can go to to fill out their application (this isn't 100%... do a search with the company + fraud and also + scam... and check the BBB) The typical scammer excuse for this is under construction or maintenance...
3) They don't require ANY fees upfront. Any fees will come out of proceeds of the loan (scammers want their fees via Western Union or Moneygram)
4) They have a REAL address you can send mail to
5) They have a REAL phone number, not a cel phone
6) Look at their profile - usually created in the last 48 hours. Why? Because they get reported for this, yahoo deletes the accounts, so they just open a new one and send again until they are deleted once more!
7) If you're STILL not convinced, despite one or more of the above applying, check them out for yourself. Email me and I can send links if anyone is interested.

USE the 'Report Abuse' button people! It's illegal!

Try and think about this question from the perspective of a bank loan officer. Say a customer comes in, with no credit or credit history, but wants to take a look at loan options for a new car.

The first questions I'd ask are:
1) Employment- Are you gainfully employed and working? How much are you earning, gross and net? How long have you been working? Work History?

2) Financials- What cash do you have available as a down payment? How much do you have in savings? What and how much cash flow do you have? Can you afford the payments without putting too much stress on your current situation?

3) Collateral- What can you offer as collateral on this vehicle, besides the vehicle itself? Do you own stocks or bonds, or have sufficent cash reserves to use as a possible backstop? Do you have assets that you could pledge to make me believe you will not just stop paying the bill?

4) Cosigner- Do you have anyone who would be willing to cosign with you on this loan? If not, why? If no one will cosign with you, what's keeping them from doing so? If they will cosign with you, why are they doing so? Is it because they are a parent, or someone who trusts you so much they are willing to pledge their name for your debt?

Take a look at a few examples here for you: (Assume both with no credit)

1) 19 Year old Male, Certified Mechanic (3 years, same shop), $29k a year gross, also attends college part-time after work.
Does he have employment? Yes he does, along with 3 years history
Financials: He's pledging $1000.00 down, with 5k in savings, No debt
Collateral: He's pledging a savings bond of $2k and his savings
Cosigner: His boss is willing to sign the loan

Would I approve him? You'd better bet yes. He has sufficent employment and salary, has a sufficent down payment, great reserve savings, solid collateral to secure the loan, and he has a non-family cosigner, his BOSS, that will sign. I'm making this loan no problem.

2) 19 Year old Male, College Student, 5k a year gross at Starbucks( 2 weeks)
Does he have employment? No, not even close.
Financials: $1500 down, $0 Savings, 2k in credit card debt
Collateral: $3k Savings Bond
Cosigner: his own parents won't touch this.

Would I approve him? Not in a million years! The poor kids bleeding debt out his eyeballs, has no savings but his larger down payment, has no solid employment and his parents won't even sign. I'd be afraid this guy wouldn't even be able to make his first payment, forcing me to spend $1000 repossing his vehicle.

In short order, these are scenarios conducting on my behalf. Please consider your own financial situation before you undertake any type of debt, including that on a depreciating liability. Vehicles, under almost all conditions, are better served payed in full. They depreciate faster in many cases than the loans do, leaving you stuck footing the extra bill come time for an accident or sale. On top of that, if you think no one knows you are alive now, wait till you miss a loan payment! I make my loans based on the numbers, the story and my gut. Ultimately, I don't care if the guy has twice the assets and no debt, I won't make the loan if something dosen't feel right.

Good luck and let me know if you need more help!

Not without a cosigner. If you have a big enough down payment maybe someone would cosign but it is very dangerous for them.
Establish credit and a good work history before trying to get so deep in debt assuming you wanted to borrow the entire cost of the car.

It would have to be from a dealership without a specific brand ie jeep, honda, chevy, etc. Your rate will also be ridiculously high.

Unfortunately not without a cosigner.

yes its possible for you to get a auto loan for $8000.don't worry its better for you to try for an online loan.some banks in online also lend loans even you have no credit too.i think that the below website will help you to find right solution.

Finding a bad credit auto lender take a little bit of work to find the right one. When looking to buy a new or used car, the dealer may offer bad credit financing, or refer you to a lender. Car buyers should consider arranging their own financing.

Unless you have a 700 or higher credit score, it might be a good idea to look at your credit report and see what you can do to improve your credit score. A 700 score will get you the best rates at the best loan terms.t.
