Here is something you can do to make that money you need. Online Travel Agent. Own your own online travel agency and just tell people about your site. Its the best site out there. You can do everything from send flowers, to booking a vacation all around europe, tickets to any show or event even sporting events. The best thing is you dont do anything but tell people where to go online. If you decide to sell online travel sites...it can turn a very big profit. The best thing...you are a business owner!! Tax write offs on almost everything you do (including your vacations), huge discounts on travel 40-100%, all the support you need. You cant afford not to check this out!!!

I am really really sorry to hear this.
You must speak to your credit card company imediately and get them to freeze the debt. Speak to the Citizens advice bureau they'll get someone to help you sort this out. |

you must get in touch with your credit card company and explain the stiuation to them, they can reduce your payments so they are affordable, if not contact your CAB they can help you with debt management, hope this helps i was in the same situation but CAB helped tremendously xxxx |

sometimes one of the creditors will take all of the debt like a consolidation, and let you make payments for all on that one account; otherwise a bank may do that---good luck with your care and treatments... |

First of all inform your credit-card bank, that you cant pay, often they agree for smaller payments, sound you have your credit-cards overdrawn a lot. There are some good websides about debt-management. Have a look in there. |

Ok right if you are in the UK there is a company called CCCS Comsumer Credit Counselling Service, please visit this site
http://www.cccs.co.uk/
my sister and boyfriends brother are both using them at the moment and are very good. This is a free charitable service so no hidden charges.
Highly recommended |

Call up all your credit cards and negotiate lower payments, APR and crediting of any overlimit/late fees. Most cards help you out if you are willing to be upfront. |

Don't hide from it. Write to them and offer to repay at £1-00 per month. They cannot touch you if you make an offer to repay. Then get yourself down to the Citizens Advice centre and tell them everything. Forget about pride here, it is survival time. They will advise you on how to sort things out but be up front with them.
In the mean time do not panic. You are far from alone in these type of situations believe me. Good luck friend. |

Contact CCCS (www.cccs.co.uk) they will help you set up a debt management plan that allows you to pay what you can afford ( they are a charity and don't charge for their services). And cut up the cards now before you get further in debt. Wish you the best of luck with defeating your cancer, just get the DMP set up ASAP then its one less thing to worry you |

Find a non-profit Debt Reduction Service in your area. They will work with your credit card companies to consolidate your debt into one monthly payment. |

You need to be honest with your credit card company, talk to them, I think you'll find them more than accommodating. |

I can't believe howmany compassionate people we have here....
Call the card companies and see if they will lower your interest rate at lease, if not freeze the debt
temporarily.
Getting sick can cause severe financial difficultys
sometimes, and for those here saying you shouldn't
have used the cards, how would you have paid your
water and electric bills without income? |

there are a few organizations to help you when you can't afford your debt. check out http://www.creditinfocenter.com/ for some help on debt consolidations. A lot of these basically close your credit card accounts, negotiate lower costs than your current balance sometimes, and provide you with a loan that is at a lower interest rate and for a longer term than required by your current creditors. You can do all this yourself and get a home equity loan to pay it all off, but you need to be disciplined and NOT run up credit card debt again, because you will have opportunities to do that again. |

You poor guy - I should think financial pressure is the last thing you need right now. You could try writing to the individual card issuers to explain and ask if they can freeze the interest while you pay back the debt at a manageable rate. Better still would be to contact the CAB who have specilist debt people on hand. They will organise everything for you to get the payments massively reduced. In the mean time dont worry - what can they do ??? Just get yourself better first and worry about the debt later. Good luck to you in your treatment and hope you are back to health soon x |

Contact your card company and ask them to reduce your payments to a reasonable level. Remember that no court will ever force you to pay back more than you can afford, which is what you are currently paying.
Finacially things can only get easier for you from here, but you have to stop using the cards now and face up to the problem.

I think what you should do now is calm done... after you are well, start working hard and earn to pay the credit card payments.
(I am not sure if this works, i am at taiwan and someone uses this to make it lesser..... Get another credit card and pay the payments on that credit card and continue so that you have a lesser interest to give) |

First step is to cut them up so that you aren't tempted to use them again. I would then contact everybody that you owe money to and let them know that you are having difficulties repaying the money. They might come up with a more manageable payment plan for you. Some companies will also waiver the interest on the payments if you are in genuine difficulties. I would also make an appointment to see the Citizens Advice Bureau, they will be able to give you some good practical advice. |

Hello
Stop with all your worrying you have enough to worry about. OK let me first start by telling there nothing the credit card company can do. If you have paid more than 5/6 payments to them you are only in default of payment. Now that's not a crime, They can't take of you what you don't have. Please stop worrying about CC and look after your self. Nothing can be done to you at all. |

If you're in the UK approach one of the free debt counselling services offered by your local council. e.g. Citizens Advice Bureau. They will be able to advise you on how to proceed.
All the best! |

Credit card payments... the real killer is the interest payments. if you do not have money now, if you are member of a credit union, get a loan to pay off the credit card debt. that way you have minimal interest to worry about. (Credit Unions are much better than banks in this case. Banks also have prohibitive charges)
Normally it is a bad idea to get a loan to pay off another loan, but in your case it seems the only option as the interest charges seem to be spiralling out of control.
Good luck.
Sorry to hear you have prostate cancer. |

You should call them straight away & tell them your situation. As long as you let them know they may give you an alternative to help you out. They're quite reasonable people as long as you let them know whats happening & keep them updated. I would also suggest getting in touch with a financial adviser. There maybe some clause on your cards that may give you a relief/holiday period. Good luck with everything. |

If your debt are less than £5000.00 you can go to your county court and get an administration order and instalment order, this is basically a payment plan for your creditors you pay the court a minimum of £1.00 a month and they then pay your debts, there is an administration charge of 10p a month. After so many months your debts are then wiped as it would take the rest of your life to pay back at that minimal rate.None of your debtors can then make demands for payments. |

You may want to try doing a credit consolidation loan. Do you qualify for a loan through your bank. You may also qualify for state assistance for your cancer treatment depending on where you live. |

If your Dying and no one else is obligated or on this account you could just stop paying and tell the Credit card company to stop bothering you and that your dying.
However if you have other Real or personal property or someone is on this account with you then you might better check with an attorney...Either way I might just check with an attorney...
Sorry to Hear about your Sickness.... |

Here's a simple concept,
Don't buy something, if you don't have the money to pay for it. |

is that cancer fatal? If so, rack up those bills and dont worry about it. I guess bankruptcy is also an option? If not, cut up those cards, and dont buy anything you cant afford. |
